The men working here are extremely rude. Yelling, slamming ingredients onto the bread, not answering customers questions about the food.

First, I really appreciate how well packaged everything was. Second, it arrived in perfect and steaming hot condition . Thirdly, the portion was actually insane . I stg 5 bites in I gave it up lol. To be fair I'm not the biggest eater but I loooove a good meal and this was just that! Also please don't be fooled by the angle of the fries, i had already eaten some and i assure you it was full to the top. I ordered the smash burger and added caramelized onions and bacon because bacon . I also fries with a side of cheese sauce(gotta have it ) the first bite almost 100% healed me. This thing was HEAVY ! I appreciate when I can taste the freshness of ingredients . The cheese was a stand alone star all by itself . I know I say this allll the time but it's true. It's my first experience but it will not be my last. My total was 25.28 before tip and 39.26 after. Thanks so much guys and keep up the great work and consistency!

Ahuevo's Double Smash Burger (the most popular item on the menu) delivers a classic smash burger…read moreexperience elevated by thoughtful execution: two 100% American beef patties, real American cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and a signature secret sauce all nestled in a soft, buttery brioche bun . The patties are seared thin and crisp at the edges, which maximizes savory beef flavor and adds pleasant texture contrast. Reviewers on platforms like Restaurantji and TrustTheCrowd praise the balance of juicy meat and tangy toppings, and mention the locally‑made, fluffy bun as a standout feature . With a price around $10.99, the burger offers strong value, generous portions, and is consistently described as reliably excellent by a staff that clearly cares about service and ingredient quality. Good Mexican ambiance. Complementing the hearty burger, the Agua de Jamaica hibiscus drink offers a refreshing tropical contrast. It's a lightly tart, floral iced tea served from a newly added menu item at Ahuevo in Chicago--typically around $2 for a 16‑oz cup, making it excellent bang for the buck . The drink's bright crimson hue and crisp flavor cut through the richness of the burger with a clean finish. Customers often pair it with breakfast tater tots or egg sandwiches as a cooling palate cleanser. For those seeking a lighter, more refreshing beverage alongside a savory and hearty sandwich, the Jamaica drink is a perfect match. Overall, Ahuevo nails the fundamentals of a smash burger--think juicy, seared beef, crisp toppings, and handmade brioche--while their Agua de Jamaica adds a smart, refreshing foil that rounds out the meal beautifully.

I needed to drive a bit, as these Bakeries are not in every community. I really enjoy the quality of products they have available, and the price- very good price. Why don't they ask the Loyal Customers? Good way to tank a Brand. Change it all, why change your Signature?! Ok, so let's focus on just this visit and the outcome. Nice people, store , relatively clean. Not great but I've seen much worse. Friendly, they are. I ordered the Turkey sandwich- now here is where it got confusing for me. BEFORE you order the protein, white or wheat, that's it. The sandwich was topped with their signature items, heated and served. Now I needed to tell them what I want on it. And then I asked. "Is it even toasted anymore ". They understand me, and said "we are trained often on the changes". Well, how about as a long time Loyal Customer to the Brand we say "no thank you ! We liked the original it worked let's her that Back here please"! It was a pretty good sandwich what they made. I applaud them for working in a hostile environment, which translated "no one wants to work in a place that changes its signature items constantly!" Not in this world and not in the next . I didn't order the milk shake, I was afraid they took away the beautiful butter cookie they use to place on the top of the straw. Also, pretty expensive sandwich. If you don't know the Old Potbelly; you will like the new one probably, it's still a packed protein sandwich. Closes early, South Side of Archer Ave, East Side of Harlem. Across from 5/3 Bank. They have freshly baked bread and a lot of Italian food, ingredients and cooked food. I had just had dinner but I was so tempted to get some risotto or an arancini. The workers are very helpful and knowledgeable. We got a loaf of bread, sausage, cheese, olives, a slice of pizza, and 2 gelatos. If I was hungry I would have ordered a lot more because everything looked so delicious behind the counter. The gelato was so delicious! I really wish I had gotten the Italian ice though because it was so hot outside and it would have hit the spot. I would definitely return as I'd like to get pasta and some of their homemade pasta sauce.
