We were in the area and had originally planned on going to the Watervliet location, but a sign on the door informed us it is permanently closed and to venture over to Coloma. This location wasn't too far so we decided to follow our Subway loving stomachs to this location. I personally have always liked the way Subway restaurants are decorated and this location is as adorably decorated as the others. Restroom was clean, as was the drink station and the rest of the restaurant. Chips were well organized and everything seemed stocked well except the bacon, which my husband was disappointed they were out of. Both employees that were out front were working quickly and standard quick food service friendly. I got the #23 untoasted with lettuce, onion and banana peppers as well as the vinaigrette dressing. My husband got a chicken breast and steak sandwich with a sauce I cannot recall. We both enjoyed our sandwiches very much. Other than being out of bacon this Subway was a pretty standard Subway stop. If we're in the area and craving a Subway sandwich I would consider coming back. read more

The guy making the sandwich was rushing as if they were busy with only two people inside. When cutting the sandwich in half, he started halfway down the bread so only half of it was open. Meat was on only half the sandwich. Barely any toppings, asked for extra lettuce less than normal amount. The guy making my sandwich was acting as if he had better things to do. Other workers were nice and the sandwiches they made even looked good. Sadly I wasn't lucky enough to get someone that did their job correctly. read more

Severely understaffed. On two occasions I've had to wait 30 minutes from start to end of sandwich. Both times had about 4 people ahead of me getting one sandwich then a good 6-8 people behind me. Went there early Saturday to pick up 4 subs on our way to a college football game. All Subways are pretty much the same and reasonably good. Experience the worst customer service ever. Employee on the phone and never even acknowledged our presence. Walked out after waiting over 5 minutes. Last visit there. read more

The management of this Subway should be ashamed of the way they are running this restaurant. Constantly out of sandwich fixings, short staffed and now they are using plain brown paper sacks and napkins. Too cheap to spring for Subway merchandise. Tonight I watched people read the list of items they were out of and get back in their car. Just a shame. read more

This Subway location never gets it right. It's not unbearable by any means but they always miss the mark. I past visits I've had limited variety bread availability, a kid who could not remember more than one spoken ingredient at a time, understaffed, out of cookies, team tension, out of tea, sandwiches are rarely cut completely in half once completed, sandwich not cut at all, messy sandwiches, no napkins, upper staff being rude to trainees, and the list goes on. During today's visit the girl never smiled and barely spoke to me, no onions prepped (this was at 1:30 and I never saw another employee. When we got into the store there were three people ahead of us. There was only one young girl working on the Sunday after Thanksgiving....a day when quite a few people are traveling. Shame on the manager for setting this poor girl up for failure. She kept bouncing back and forth between orders and the people who we're ordering when we came in, still had not been rung up when she asked for our order. The food is good and the customer service is not bad but its not a large place to begin with so being prompt and tending to the customers really should not be that much of an issue. Also I recently worked at this location and was fired for supposedly "arguing" with the health inspector. This is a complete lie and makes me wonder if the inspector was being biased toward me. The facility is clean and well organized but one of the workers there told me that she didn't really care about if one of the items used in the kitchen was completely clean or not when I pointed it out to her. I am not trying to turn people away from this location but the integrity of the staff seriously need to be kept track off. No one likes to be lied to no matter the circumstances. read more

usually love going and getting food here. this time around was not good at all. went in and the guy was new you could tell, got 2 foot longs and asked for a cup of soup togo. didn't know where soup was, had to go outside and get the other person that was supposed to be working too and ask. he told me that she had forgot to make more soup and that they were out. horrible customer service. not sure what happened to the one guy that used to work there he made everything perfect and always was on top of everything. probably won't be going back unless he is working. read more
