The food, shrimp basket and Oyster basket with macaroni and cheese, cheese grits and friee. The shrimp were fat and juicy wirh a nice light breading. The spice mix reminded me of KFC. the fries, Crinke cut and crispy were a table favorite. The oysters were bland. My companion said they had little flavor ocer the breading. The cheese grits were tasty, but the biggest disappointment was the Mac & cheese. It was oily and tasted like institutional (school, hospital) food. There wasn't a long wait, bur be aware, summer is here and if you're out doors, get you some insect repellant. Gnats are aggressive.

On top of the attitude, there was a serious lack of communication about what was unavailable. They were out of several items, including bottled water. Most frustratingly, I ordered the peel-and-eat shrimp and wasn't told until after I received my food that they were out of cocktail sauce. Without it, the shrimp were inedible to me -- I ended up throwing them away. That information should have been shared at the time of ordering. This was one of the only dining options available on a Monday night, so we made it work. But the poor service, lack of communication, and wasted food made the overall experience fall short. I'll be looking for other options next time.

We got in line and while it took a long time (so if you are in a hurry don't stop during lunchtime!) the food was delicious!! The burger was very fresh and juicy and the fries tasted like they were fries in something that would cook pastries! Very flavorful! So glad we took a chance on this place! Will definitely stop again on our journeys to Tallahassee (I only wish we had discovered it years ago!)

First and foremost I was happy to see Claudia our waitress working here! She has always been a great friend and excellent waitress. It's truly nice for people to come on and leave reviews about establishments however, leave a negative review for something that is false is not very appealing.
