All Lindsey and company had to do, which is all that anyone has to do at any business establishment, was go to the counter and ask for either a refund or a custom modification to the sandwich. And yeah... reading the menu--written in big letters and hanging on the wall--helps too. As someone who doesn't have to drive "about 40 minutes" to go to the Bodega, I'm super thankful that it's here. It's a blessing for those of us who have been thankful for ALL the businesses who have brought a new bit of life to our community. At the end of the day, people like Lindsey should be taken with the half-grain of salt they're worth. She wants you to think that the folks at the Bodega went out of their way to ruin her day. What we actually think is that she opted to announce to everyone on Yelp that she's petty and selfish. She didn't bother to read the menu, didn't ask questions, and didn't take her grievances to the store. Instead, she fired off her editorial opus and punched "one-star" because, in her world, if she's inconvenienced or made angry, then something has to burned to the ground. The Bodega is wonderful. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor.
