This business is a combo of small market, butcher shop, and deli with dine in seating. The west end of the shop is devoted to a seating area while the east end is filled with displays of local products including canned items (jellies etc.) and candies. They also have some fresh bread and baked items. The left side of the market has the meats and cheeses available to order. They had several folks working behind the counter to be able to keep up with the customers. I had already eaten before stopping in here to shop, so I passed on getting a sandwich or soup. I find it quite ingenious to offer lunch meals as a way to supplement the market when a lot of folks don't have the devices necessary to keep meats fresh in their offices if they shop at lunch. If I lived in Greencastle I'd be here a few times a week to buy all my meat. I was recently visiting family in Greencastle and they had to make a stop here to get meat for grilling. This is like the butcher shop my grandparents used when I was a child. Beautiful case filled with all kinds of meat. It just so happened to be a Thursday and that's the day they grill outside in the warm months. The special that day was a pork chop sandwich. Hmmm, I never heard of a pork chop sandwich so we decided to give them a try. I thought it would probably be pulled pork, but no it was a real boneless pork chop on a bun. It was probably the best pork chop I ever tasted. I believe they smoked it, it was so tender and moist we didn't even need any condiments on it. We also got bratwurst-regular and apple. The meat is good. Best deli meat in town. It is just a shame they don't have someone in there who knows how to slice it. I like my pastrami shaved, they chip it. The wife and I love to support local! So while in greensburg for another reason we checked Yelp (obviously) for a mom and pop shop in town. I love the fact that you can get a combo! That's always a plus in my book! The meat, cheese and bread were so fresh!!! My sandwich was so good it left my mouth watering for more! Not only is it a great place to grab some lunch. Upon entering, we saw lots of local chocolates and gummies, including peanut butter malt balls, which I haven't seen in years! We ended up ordering sandwiches. You write you name, bread/meat/cheese toppings on a sheet and hand it in. Your name is called when it's ready and you have the option of making your sandwich a combo (and you can upgrade your drink to a large for $.50 more). I love that they have Broad Ripple Chip Co. chips and my husband enjoyed the XXX Root Beer, which is offered bottled and on tap. My sandwich was divine! The mustard was grainy with great flavor, the habanero pepper jack cheese was great, the veggies were so fresh, and the roast beef was the best I've ever had anywhere. The seating is quaint, with indoor and outdoor options. They didn't have honey roasted turkey on the sheet but when my husband asked, they made an exception and were so nice about it (he doesn't like smoked/roasted turkey). He was also thrilled that you can add bacon, which he said was delicious. The bathroom is also VERY clean! Upon finishing, we appreciated the free drink refills for the drive home and I ordered roast beef to eat through the week. I mentioned the hour drive so they packed my meat on ice - so nice! Happened to pop in for a sandwich. They had a giant smoker set up outside selling pulled pork and brats. Every single employee was incredibly friendly. Inside they have sandwiches. I got a roast beef which was amazing! My daughter got the pulled pork, which she ate, but didn't rave about. We are from Texas and we were just there last week where she ate a ton of it, so it's not fair to compare! The store inside is adorable. They sell their meats, coffee, sweets, jams, sauces. Their fried chicken salad is amazing. I'm also a big fan of their Cuban pork sandwich.

Avoid ordering from their web page. I placed an order and after a few days I hadn't received a tracking number so I emailed them twice. No response. When I called them, I got an automated phone message saying the number was not in service. I gave up and ordered what I needed from another company, and then a week later I ended up getting my original order from Myers'. Now I wasted $60 and end up with a duplicated order because of their total lack of response. read more

I'm ashamed to say I've lived in the area for over 4 years and never went in here until recently. I follow MM on Facebook and they posted about a monthly bundle deal. It was essentially a ridiculous amount of pork products for an amazing price. I did math in my head and knew I would pay at least double at Kroger or elsewhere. I decided to go for it and went to pick it up in store. The staff were very friendly. I had emailed my order and they responded very promptly then called a few days later when it was ready for pickup. The inside is much larger than I thought. Amazing products inside (local honey) and of course a vast deli counter. They also take cards so that was a plus. So far we've eaten hickory smoked bacon which was spectacular and very flavorful, boneless chops which were great, ground pork which I seasoned with Italian spices for spaghetti, and I have a pork loin on deck for tomorrow. I'm blown away by the quality for the price! Shopping local pays off! I highly recommend Myers Market. Terrific place! We are lucky to have this in Greencastle. read more

This is just a review of the lunch/dinner menu, not the butcher/deli/market offerings. Meyers' consistently makes very good sandwiches at reasonable prices. The menu for sandwiches is pretty limited and only offers cold sandwiches (except for grill-out Thursdays during the warmer months; those lunches deserve five stars!). But Even though there are few choices, the sandwiches are fresh and taste excellent. You can get a combo with chips and a drink for less than $10 and it is plenty of food for most folks. Sometimes they have soup available as well but it tends toward the salty side. I wish they didn't use styrofoam but the XXX root beer is so good that I am willing to forgive them. Add a bag of locally-made chocolate covered caramels or malted milk candies to your order... You won't regret it! read more

This place is awesome! The deli is good, get a sandwich with chips and a drink or half sandwich and cup of soup and a drink for around $5. The main reason to go here though for the cuts of meat, which are fantastic! Most are from local farmers, and you can talk with these farmers to find out what antibiotics (if any) are used for the raising of the livestock. They do not add water or anything to the meats for appearance, and the meats are tender and the taste is so good! They cut the meats there in house so you can request cuts, but they have such a selection that there is really no need to. The prices are perfect too. There are Indiana products (syrup, jellies and jams, spice rubs, etc) that is available, and produce too. read more

They have fresh fish, nearly any cut of meat you can think of frozen or fresh, the best brats money can buy and the best bacon money can buy, fresh in season veggies, honey, chocolate, breads, eggs.. I never leave here disappointed with a purchase. I have a freezer full of their meats! The staff is friendly and they are quick and attentive!
