Worse subway I have ever been to. The manager there is rude and some of the workers are very unsanitary.

Slow does not begin to describe the service in this location. Had to leave before I was served.

I also love the half toasted Italiano. The baguette used is always delicious and I love the sopprossata combined with ham. The garlic aioli really brings the flavors together and the red onions, romaine lettuce, pepperoncinis, plus provolone cheese are all great additions. Service is usually amazing with the staff being friendly, attentive and getting the orders correct for us. The inside of the location is always clean and well organized which is a welcome sight in food service creating great ambiance.

I ordered via the app so I could drive up and get my food. I waited about 15 min for them to make it, then another 10 min after I was supposedly finished. On top of that, I called in advance and asked for no ice and was told my drink wouldn't have ice. Needless to say it did. The cashier at the window took the drink back, continued taking other orders and talking to her co-workers while I'm still sitting in the drive-thru! I had to knock on the window and ask what's taking so long? She said "oh your food is ready I just had to remake your drink"! I just stared at her as she FINALLY decided to give me a drink I've been waiting for. I will NEVER go thru the window again and now even contemplating on whether or not I'll return at all! And of course my soup is room temperature. Big disappointment.

Service need improvement. Let me start off saying I love City Barbeque food. The problem I had at…read morethe newly open store # 10075 McDonough GA. location was this. The young man who were preparing your food had no gloves on and no hair net. When picking up your meats he did used tongs in one hand while holding and looking at his cell phone in the other hand. I don't understand why you need to look at your cell phone while preparing food. Can you at least wait until you finish your orders or go on break. Do you know how filthy your phones are. And the area where you get your condiments were also filthy with paper and sauce that had spilled all over the counter. Managers this is unaccepted I will not come to this store again. This was my first time visiting this location and it will be my last.

Everything was delicious, except the brisket was dry and burned. I called the resturant. The manager on duty, Artis was very apologetic and allowed us to return it and replaced it. The brisket was freshly cooked and soon delicious. The best I've ever had actually. They also added some $5 coupons. Thank you Artis and the team there on Sunday 5/17/26. It's not my first time giving an excellent review. I recommend highly and will dine there again and again

Welcome back to the table…read more I find that most people dismiss rotisserie chicken as "basic," but finding one that is actually seasoned through to the bone is harder than it should be. I stopped by the Cowboy Chicken in McDonough looking for something reliable, and it delivered that specific, wood-fired comfort that's hard to replicate at home. The vibe is laid-back and rustic exactly what you'd expect from a spot centered around an open flame. The Spread We didn't hold back on the order, covering everything from the signature rotisserie to the brisket and bowls. The Signature Chicken: They use a dry rub and slow-roast the meat over real wood. The result is a juicy, tender interior with skin that carries a slight, salty crispness. What stood out most was the flavor penetration; the seasoning wasn't just sitting on the surface. Unlike many rotisserie spots where the center feels neglected or underdone, this was consistent throughout. It holds its own without needing sauce. The Sides: The Spanish Rice surprised me. Fluffy, well-seasoned, shelly in texture, and the addition of corn gave it a nice sweetness. The Mac and Cheese was a bit of a curveball; it's more on the liquid, saucy side, but the flavor builds on you the more you eat. The fries were perfect and held a solid crisp even after sitting for a bit. We ended up getting a second basket of Fries because the crunch held up beautifully, even as they cooled down. The Coleslaw will be a hit or miss for some, we had mixed reviews. The shredded cabbage was thicker than normal but the other half of the table it was perfect. Tinga Bowl ($14.00): If you want something that feels a bit lighter but still packs a punch, this is it. The shredded chicken has a balanced kick, paired with corn relish, black beans, and a sprinkle of "Cowboy Dust" for heat. It's refreshing but filling. Layered with rice, beans, corn relish, avocado, crema it all balances out. Not heavy, but still satisfying. Brisket Sandwich (13.75: The bread was lightly toasted, cradling pulled brisket that was smoky and not juicy because we needed sauce for it but the flavor was there. Crispy Tenders ($13.25): These were a table favorite. They nailed the external crunch without sacrificing the moisture of the chicken inside.Crunch on the outside, seasoned all the way through, and still tender inside. The Sweet Finish I'm officially a fan of their Texas Peach Cobbler. It leans more cake-like than soupy, which I prefer. It tasted fresh, warm and held its structure, making it a solid closer for a heavy meal. Service & Value The moment we walked in, the staff offered a genuine verbal welcome. The service was efficient, and the restaurant maintained a clean, organized look despite the steady flow of customers. At roughly $14-$15 for a plate with two sides and a roll, the portion size makes the pricing very reasonable for the quality you're getting. Table Approved This is the spot for a high-quality, fuss-free family dinner or a solo lunch when you're craving real wood-fired flavor without the fast food aftertaste. It's dependable, flavorful, and worth a visit for the chicken alone. Follow along where food meets adventure - Shallonz Table.
