Two of us had bacon cheeseburgers and I tried the Philly cheesesteak special. All were happy with what we ordered and the prices were reasonable. Picnic tables and working AC highlight this small older building on Hwy 1431 in the main part of Kingsland. Used to be an antique store where I purchased lots of handmade quilts over the years and probably makes a better little restaurant. We'll come back to try something else. It's nice to have some other options than the ubiquitous Mexican food options on 1431. Wish these folks success.

They also have TV's, a pool table or two, lots of bar seating, nice restrooms and a very friendly bartender. We needed a snack and the fried mushrooms that would normally be about $11.99 at any restaurant/bar in closer to the city were priced attractively at about $6 and served piping hot. We will definitely be back on a day when we have more time to hang out and enjoy the nice weather at this cool indoor/outdoor bar.

An elderly, mobility challenged couple parked at the front of the restaurant. The wait staff rushed out and assisted them to a table.
