I am not saying that it is easy to handle the volume of orders (because lets be honest, there's not much else in this town) but the quality between daytime orders and evening orders is just that. Night and day. I wouldnt be saying this if it wasn't a repeated issue time and time again. I am just hoping that there can be some quality checks to make sure things are correct before they get handed off to customers is all.

My cheeseburger was fresh off the grill. If you look at the picture it was wrapped with the outside of the wrapper instead of the inside - not a big deal, but odd. The fries were fresh, and if you are sodium restricted, didn't seem to have any salt on them. Salt, napkins, ketchup and what not are directly in front of the order counter. So the food was okay, not great. Service was solid. The decorations were impressive. Oh, and the Root Beer - this is an old Dog n'Suds, and the Root Beer was epically good.

Waited probably 10 minutes being 2nd in line to get my order taken when the dude disappeared (I get it things happen and places get busy). Place my order and it takes over 20 minutes for my food to come out. I only got it because I asked and the guy said he "gave it out" already. It actually was sitting behind him on the counter. Also no changing tables for a baby in either bathroom so you can change your baby in the car. Not to mention over $25 for two people. Remember when you could get out of a fast food place for $5-6 a person? It really shouldn't be hard to get this right. Regret stopping in

For instance, "I'll help who's next in line please," while avoiding eye contact is much more awkward than just paying a little attention, looking at me, the next one in line RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU, and saying "next Please." Likewise, instead of "would you like a receipt at all today?" might be better communicated as, "receipt?" again with eye contact. Maybe forbid them from adding the nonsensical, at all, or, today, to any sentence. And, maybe most of all, "have a nice rest of your day," is just word salad. How about, "thank you," instead? Okay, that's not something that happens just here, and maybe I'm just a mastodon longing for archaic civility and what matters to most people is that the place is clean, the food is served hot, and the frozen custard sundaes are tasty.
