Well there is a reason this location has very few stars. I only came here because my son requested it, because his friend gave him a coupon and he was excited to use it. We ordered. Garbage Location! DO NOT GO HERE! It was pouring rain so I ordered on the touch screen drive thru. I finished the order and pulled up and no one was there. I waited 10 minutes and saw literally no one so I pulled out and around to the front. I got soaked walking to the door and when I opened it.. your employee was sitting in a lobby booth slouched over the table on her phone. She didn't even acknowledge me until I said "hey". I told her I had a drive thru order and she said "what? " so I started to repeat myself and realized I really didn't want anything made by this individual so I said "nevermind". Worse Subway location ever! Ordered takeout on the subway app and the app charged my cc and order was confirmed. Showed up to the restaurant to pick up my order and they had no record of the order. I showed the girl the confirmation and the credit card charge so she made my sandwich. Then the on-site manager decided she needed to call someone. She was on the phone with this second manager trying to get the online system to work. 20 mins after I was supposed to pick up my order she was still messing with the system. I walked out without my sandwich as I couldn't wait anymore as I was late for an appointment. What a waste of time!!!!! read more

I really enjoy coming to this Subway location on University Boulevard in North Charleston because of the convenience of everything with a drive through window and the quality of the sandwiches that they construct. This has been a very consistent Subway throughout the years and they have come through with good sandwiches regularly. read more

The owners are exceedingly frugal and cheap. The turnover of employees is astronomical because they are not given proper training or support. One of the worst subways I've ever been to. It is sad that it is right next to my house but after today I will not frequent there ever again. This location does not accept coupons that you get in the mail. So I left and went to Jimmy John's who has better prices and better subs.

This subway is literally 5 minutes from my house but i would rather drive 15 minutes than ever come here again. The employee literally had such an attitude and barely even spoke. Love subway breakfast and used to show up around 930 which 30 min after this one opens but most of the time they were still not set up. Left several times due to this. Today is the last day going to this location. Went in at 340 pm. A non busy time and ordered to footlong subs. One small issue they had ran out of bread. I went to this subway when I got of off work this evening at 9pm knowing that they didn't close till 10pm. I walked up to the door at 9:20 and the door was already locked. When I knocked and jiggled the door the three women behind the counter just stared at me like I was stupid. I gave them a dissatisfied look and turned away and left. My neighbor suggested I go here in lieu of one in Goose Creek. I don't know ...seems like a lot of traffic and no light even though it's the entrance to a busy apartment complex by this strip retail center. There is drive-up service here. I walked in and was the only one, but noone greeted me. The one lady was tending to the one drive-up customer, but she wasn't that busy to not say something like "We'll be with you shortly"? I waited and waited. Finally a lady came from the back and was doing her thing for a bit longer and then waited on me. She was friendly enough taking my order for a salad. It was a-ok, not worth $7, but I had a gift card with some money still on it...wish I had tried one of the flat bread fatitas instead and some cookies. It was hard to exiting onto University Ave. without a traffic light here. Without a gift card, don't think I'll be back or would drive a little further to one in Goose Creek. read more

This review is based solely on the terrible customer service I received today. The food is just like any other subway. There is a woman named Donna who works here and she is unbelievably rude! Used the drive thru. Gave me a sandwich with bacon when I ordered a chicken gauc and I do not eat pork. I got home and bit into it, drove back to the store and I was polite. They remade the sandwich and sent me on my way. I think they should have done more. read more

I visited this location a few weeks ago and absolutely loved the service that was provided to me by Alfonso Ross. I am rarely in the Charleston area because I live out to state, so I wanted to come back and visit this particular location just because of the absolutely great customer service experience I received on my first visit here. I was informed that he was no longer an employee due to the fact that he was terminated. I went on to ask why he was terminated because he was such a delightful and enjoyable employee. It was stated that he was allegedly terminated because he was the recipient of sexual harassment from the manager. I believe that this is outrageous and should be unacceptable as an organization that should protect our employees from this sort of misbehaviors at the work place, instead of terminate them. I went as far as asking for the manager's information because I believe that Alfonso Ross should seek legal advise because it is no way that he should be punished for simply declining sexual interactions. I believe this action is absolutely absurd and this is an injustice act for Alfonso Ross. read more
