I tried this place for the first time because I've heard good things about it. While the sandwiches are a little pricey the taste does make it worth it. I had a really good staff member help me on my first time and she gave me an overview of all the options. I sampled three flavors (the original, the onion based one, and the cranberry based one). All of them were soo good but I went with the onion based salad. I go chips as a side and it came with a little cookie and pickle. All in all it was a good experience and delicious meal. It also didn't take too long which was good as I was hungry. read more

Update: We have been coming here almost weekly since they opened and have never been disappointed. The manager Kelly Black is one of the best managers around and one hard worker. She is loved by her employees which is rare, if you haven't had the chance to try this restaurant out, now is the time. You won't regret it. Tell the CrazyBob sent you. Affordable lunch that is more filling than it looks! When you walk in there's a menu to which you pick a sandwhich or scoop entree option with several sides to choose from. I got the 1 scoop of the lemon basil chicken salad and for my side the broccoli slaw. The entree also comes with 5-6 cracker packets, pickle, and a mini frosted cookie. My fiancé got the croissant option of a Scotty flavor bacon cheddar chicken salad with a side of thick mac n cheese. They offer regular and strawberry lemonade so I enjoyed that with some unsweetened tea. There's tablecloths which you don't see often at fast food places, lots of seating with some booths. Always good and fresh! Came today and it was delish! My daughter got the kids meal...half sandwich with chips and drink. Side could have been pasta, fresh fruit or broccoli salad. Always come with a little cookie. I got a scoop of Old South chicken salad on croissant and sea salt kettle chips. My meal also came with a little sugar cookie but had to add the drink. A food list of chicken salad types to try. Haven't been here since last year! And it's only Jan 9th so far Would come again for a light snack. There are also a few to go options to go from. OMG !! So today I popped my Chicken Salad Chick Cherry ! And i wanna say this place IS AMAZEBALLS ! the staff is so friendly and really greats you with a smile ! They didn't rush me to figure out what i wanted no making me feel bad when i changed my mind and asked tons of questions! Interesting concept and good food, even if it is just chicken salad. I'm visiting my mom for a few weeks. She's an older, independent woman. Lives by herself and has been in Goose Creek since the late 70s. As a kid in the 80s, there wasn't much here...just fast food (McDonalds, Captain D's, Burger King, Sub Station Ii), Mr Swiss, Pizza Hut when you can sit down and eat there, and a small Filipino take out place. So long story short, the food scene has changed! I grew up here but moved to Virginia, but I am here every other month to help my mom. We are always trying to find something new to eat. My mom and her card friends come to Chicken Salad Chick and we wanted to grab some takeout before she had friends over, so we decided to get CSC. My mom ordered chicken salad that had a tiny bit of jalapeños in it on lettuce and the chicken tortilla soup. I got the same thing but instead of soup I got broccoli slaw. The meal came with crackers and a pickle. The chicken salad had the tiniest bit of spice but not hot by any stretch. The broccoli slaw was good...a little sweet for me, but I still enjoyed it. Mom liked her soup but said the tortilla strips were small. I think our total for both of us was around $20, which I think is good for the food quality and the amount of food. It didn't look like much but I was full. The cashier let us try another chicken salad that had bacon and cheddar cheese...it was tasty! I'd eat here again. We were saying they should do some kind of chicken salad with Asian flavors. Bet that would be a hit. Since we did takeout, I totally forgot to take pictures. Next time. read more

I placed an order and 20 minutes later it was still setting in the window. It seems that the staff was more interested in fulfilling to go orders than the in person orders. When I questioned the staff on my order they were not helpful. After finally getting my order the sandwich was not cut completely and the grape salad had rotten grapes in it. Not the normal quality I expected. read more

I've been waiting over 30 minutes for a dozen cookies . They're bagged so I'm unsure of the issue. Many people have come and gone with their orders and I keep being told they're coming. No WiFi in here I'm never able to use my rewards. Was happy there were here in Goose Creek but I think I'll go to Summerville. read more

Well the other day we went to the establishment for a second time. It was so crowded for it being 1:30, it was Saturday though. I had to only give a 4 stars as the wait time was extremely long and it seemed that we were forgotten. 5-8 people who came after us got their food before us. I had to take my soup back to the counter as it was cold! It impressed. Love this place though!! Update: Had the chicken tortillas soup and it is the bomb! Picture below. Finally tried this spot out and ordered take out. Was ready when I arrived and I was greeted warmly and promptly! Got home and the meal was absolutely delicious! I got the original chicken salad on white bread and broccoli cheddar soup. It came with a little cookie too which is such a nice touch and it was very tasty! Here for the preview event and the restaurant is nice and the atmosphere is quiet and calm. service is superb. I got a scoop of the Olivia's Old South and the broccoli salad. The chicken salad was so good and you get a generous amount. They have a great selection of gourmet chicken salad such as spicy, fruity and savory chicken salads. Definitely check this place out when they have their grand opening. read more

Chicken Salad Chick has the absolute best broccoli salad I have ever tasted. They also have a nice mix of different types of chicken salad that could tantalize anyone's taste buds. Their service is fast and friendly and you are in and out in no time! A great place to go and have a nice lunch in a nice clean restaurant. I had an issue awhile back with an order from chicken salad chick and Amy from chicken salad chick from the Anderson location was filling in here. She contacted me and told me that she wanted to make things right and told me that when I could make it to the restaurant there would be two free dinners waiting for me....so today I headed down there and told them who I was and the manager came out and personally made my meals.. everyone was so nice and helpful because I wasn't sure what I wanted and the recommendation were awesome....The best chicken salad I have ever eaten.... I got the fruity Fran was awesome with the grape salad. My mother had the turkey club with cranberry Kelli...it was awesome and many thanks to Amy and all the employees at the Goose Creek location for making it all just perfect....I can promise you I will be back to eat at Cicken Salad Chick for sure! read more

Unfortunately very boring and tasteless. I had a Cranberry Kelli BLT .Dried cranberries, almonds, bacon, lettuce & tomato on wheat toast. I got half toasted wheat bread. Maybe 1 or 2 cranberries, no almonds I could detect with miserable tomato slices and soggy lettuce. Sorry but truth is the chicken salad itself was bland and dull. Right out of a supermarket deli. read more

The tea tasted fairly similar to a lipton sweet tea from the soda fountain and not really something homemade and infused with fresh juices. Mussels - these were really good. Even if half of the mussels fell out into the broth during preparation. Gumbo - this was kind of questionable. My colleague also saw the redish hue of the liquid and said he was glad he didn't order it. It was filled with a lot of seafood, but the liquid was just too creamy. My colleague also commented on the etouffee that was being brought out to other nearby tables and supposedly it looked too dry. I also ordered a to go dessert. The bread pudding. It ended up being pretty decent though.

The facility was clean and well stocked. The quality of food is not worth the crowding or wait time that so many are subjected. As a single person party, I chose to find a seat at the bar. It was not overly large and was monitored by 2 servers. I was fairly quickly addressed to get my drink and I ordered a starter without prompting due to the number of patrons. Another sat beside me but she was overlooked for quite a bit of time, finally having to ask for a menu. Once my starter arrived, the okra basket, I was ignored. The okra was ok but nothing special, standard premade restaurant supply brand of thickish breading that was intermittently soft or crunchy. I was 1/4 way through the basket before I had a chance to request cutlery and seeing that the servers had started to focus only on the person next to me that they had initially overlooked, I also requested my entree. I had reviewed the menu prior to arrival and decided on my order in advanced. Unfortunately it was not available on the brunch menu and lunch was not an available option. I should have asked for the check at that time but selected an omelette instead. While waiting and consuming my starter, I requested a menu draft to be told it was unavailable too. The suggested alternative was decent. My entree arrived about 20 minutes later. It was dry, both the eggs and protein. I was able to request and receive a sauce in a short period of time. My refill did not need to be requested but it was incorrect so I did have to ask for another. I know the staff is most likely good, the popularity produced by the Travel Channel keeps them too busy and complacency is prevalent. I had hoped that the publicity did not change the uniqueness of the menu but I will trust my intuition in the future and continue to avoid these types of restaurants.

We had to try the Apple Pie shots since everyone seems to talk about them. This is way more complex than some apple flavor liquor. The ingredients take some prep work, and the result is something that literally tastes like apple pie. If they bottled this, I would definitely buy it. They have two specialty drinks, the Freshy and the Orange Crush, both of which are made with fresh squeezed juice squeezed right when you order. I had the Freshy which is orange or grapefruit juice with your favorite liquor. I chose grapefruit with vodka and even though I am not a huge fan of grapefruit the freshness and tartness of the drink made it quite enjoyable. My wife had the Orange Crush with Deep Eddy's O.J vodka, Triple Sec, Sprite and some of that fresh squeezed orange juice. It was nice and sweet which was good since we were ordering a lot of savory options. The Potato Skins arrived first and they were truly impressive. Good sized skins with the perfect amount of potato, not too thick or too dry and definitely homemade. They had mixed cheese, bacon and green onions served with sour cream also loaded with green onions. As far as all the potato skins I have had these were a standout. Next came the onion rings with an absolute massive serving for just eight dollars. You could tell they were homemade and served with a chili garlic sauce. The best part was the batter coating which was crispy yet didn't fall off when bent or bitten. They reheated nicely in the air fryer. Next, we tried the Toasted Raviolis which were filled with Italian sausage and served with a house made marinara. They were nice and crispy, but the true star was the marinara sauce which was thick and chunky with parmesan mixed all throughout. I wish they had more dishes that used this sauce as it was excellent. On the advice of some regulars, I tried the chicken fingers which were all breast meat, dill brined and hand battered. It was good advice since the chicken was juicy and tender with a flavorful coating. Sometimes it pays to ask. My wife ordered the thing they are known for their Philly Cheesesteak. She decided on double meat, and they were super generous to the point she looked at me and said, "I don't know how I am going to finish this!". This cheesesteak gets nominate for a lot of best of lists and I could see why. I liked that the cheese was mixed in with the meat and not just poured on top. She enjoyed it but said next time she will order it as is. This is a great place to hang out and relax and maybe catch a band or some bluegrass and enjoy a great meal!

Mine was decent -- the coffee itself tasted good -- but similar to his, the syrup flavor didn't quite match what I expected. It didn't really give that cookie-dough taste, just a light sweetness. Price-wise, it came to just under $15 for one medium decaf latte and one large decaf latte with syrups, which feels pretty fair for specialty coffee drinks. Overall, not a bad stop -- especially if you're looking for a pet-friendly coffee spot with a patio -- but I do wish the flavored syrups had been a bit stronger and more true to taste.
