We pulled up to the door and a young lady opened to take our order (Covid-19 precautions) for one she was rude. My mother in law kindly asked her if she spoke Spanish, she ignored her. She took our order down and went inside. While we were waiting inside, another worker pulled up and went inside. Few minutes later, the lady who was driving this worker went right Inside and came back out to start taking orders! I get she was trying to help but she had no face mask, she was wearing sandals and was not dressed appropriate for work at all. It's a shame that I live and work near 3 Subway restaurants and would love to get a quick sandwich here and there but all three locations are so overpriced because of the tourism that you might as well get a steak for the price that you're paying. There are Subways in the surrounding towns and they're half the price for the same product. The three Subway restaurants in Page are owned by same person so there is no competition. Well, it's not the best subway experience I've had, but it's far from the worst. The young man helping me was doing a great job of managing all the customers solo. His partner was on a break but in the back room. I'm sure labor is tough to find in this area of the state and that creates part of the problem. They should also work on how much bread they bake early in the day. The bread I had had been baked long ago and was almost stale. I tend to ignore low reviews on fast food chains but I should've paid attention to this one. I tried to order a footlong meatball but as the employee placed 4 meatballs on my sandwich, he was like, oh we don't have enough for a footlong, so you can order a 6-inch. So then I asked him if it was okay to replace the other half with a different meat and have the footlong price. I asked for the other half to be tuna (the same price as the meatball), but as I was being rung, I noticed the total was clearly not the footlong price. When I asked him about it, he said, "oh but you got 2 separate 6-inches" (worth pointing out, it wasn't even cut as 2 separate sandwiches). Then he tried to charge it a different way, as if I had gotten a footlong meatball with extra tuna. Either way, he said that "this is what my manager tells me so you can take it up with him". While there are many Subways in the world, not all are created equally. THIS Subway in particular stands up against the rest, and makes them pale in comparison. If given the choice to go to two Subways, this one and another one, I would go out of my way to go to THIS Subway. KJ was so attentive to all details of our order, and went above and beyond to ensure our concerns were met. I have a food allergy, and he took the time to ensure my food was not only safe, but that all utensils, gloves, etc. were safe for me as well. Summary: Don't go here. The service was very slow. The main reason was that one of the employees who wasn't working at the moment was ordering a salad and being very picky, chatting with the staff and then getting them to do something with the till that they didn't know how to do. She also yelled out the code to override a till mistake or something. The guy in front of us had a hot sub which was cold by the time he actually got it. When I mentioned something to the woman serving me she argued with me, that even though the person in front of us, that was delaying everyone was an employee, she has a perfect right to come in and order food when she is not working. That is true to a point but if she has total disregard for delaying customers when she is off duty - how much does she care about serving customers when on duty. Looking at the other reviews I would say not much. We almost walked out and went someone else instead and I would suggest you do the same. Unfortunately I don't normally check reviews for Subway stores, which we use a lot, because overall they are good. We later bought an identical sub in Phoenix and the one in Page was 46% more expensive! $8.75 versus $5.98. I checked the price for Tuba City just outside Page and it was the same as Phoenix, so I don't know why this place is more expensive. I suppose bad service cost more money. read more

My husband and I stopped here for a quick lunch before going to Horseshoe Bend Sunday. We both ordered the same thing we had ordered at the Subway in Kanab the day before. We thought they had made a mistake with the receipt. No, it seems they think that a garden salad (which they tried to stop filling when it was less than half full) is worth $7 in Page. Funny, we paid $5 in Kanab for twice as much produce. They said the prices vary between locations. Really? A 40% increase and you want to provide half the quantity? Isn't this why we like franchises? Not just because we can rely on the food tasting the same, but because we know they follow processes (like the quantities) and we know we can count on the pricing. Very disappointing. read more

Rude AF employees! I started to order my sandwich, the woman behind the counter kept saying "What??" Naturally, I spoke louder, then another staff member asked rudely "Why is SHE yelling!?". During ordering my first sandwich, I asked for shredded cheese, she responded, to what I can only assume, because I did not hear her speak, that they didn't have the cheese I wanted. Yet again, someone yelled at me that they only had mozzarella shredded cheese! I said "ok, no cheese then." Then the woman started making a different sandwich that I didn't order. I was confused, so I stood there quietly waiting for her to acknowledge me again because I was not done ordering. She finally looked up at me so I started to order another sandwich. This clearly upset her, she stopped making the sandwich she was working on and pushed it aside. She huffed and puffed like I was annoying for ordering another sandwich. I asked for 2 slices of ham on my sandwich and she was pissed off about that too. She told her co worker "This is going to be extra for her." They were just completely rude after that! Come to find out the other sandwich she started to make after my first order was her OWN sandwich. So I figure I must have ruined her lunch break, as if I knew her schedule. All of the staff treated me like shit after that except for the dark haired girl with the nice eyebrows and nose ring at the cash register. Awesome. We've been traveling and love subway. We have camped in the wal mart parking lot and they have a subway inside but for some reason the customer service isn't as great as the other subway in town by the safeway. There is a lovely lady named Andrea and she is so nice and makes sure we have the best subway experience possible. I know it's not much but just her effort and she is always so courteous.
