Army hot pot LA galbi - lunch
    Uyen N.

I didn't have a lot of expectation so food is better than I thought. Army soup is a little spicy and the portion is definitely for more than 2 people (what the menu says). The la galbi lunch portion has like 7 pieces of meat so if you want more, go with the regular portion. Though food is good, it is pretty expensive.

It gets 3 stars for being spacious and the only kbbq around. Overpriced for sure. Im used to all you can eat kbbq for cheaper (California native), but I have to take into consideration the area. Overall, the food had good flavor and menu had authentic korean items. Keep in mind we were also starving after a hike so a leather shoe would have probably tasted great too. Service was ok, staff was nice and they had a robot delivery thing to help take the food to your table. We were hungry and it hit the spot. Is it the best korean food I have ever had? No. But its good enough for this area.

Disappointing Experience , Overpriced and Low Quality This was the only Korean restaurant we could find near our hotel during a national parks trip, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing overall. First, the prices were extremely high compared to any other Korean restaurant we've visited. There was no hotpot option, which we were originally craving, and the Korean BBQ set was $89 a steep price considering the small portions and lack of variety. Most dishes averaged $30 each, and we shared a variety between 8 people. The quality of the meat was poor it didn't taste fresh, and we couldn't finish most of it. On top of that, we were charged a 10.8% tax, which is well above Utah's food tax rate of 4.85%. If the food had been delicious, we wouldn't mind paying more, but in this case it felt like blatant price gouging for below-average food. I'm only giving this an extra star because the server was genuinely friendly and hardworking. He was clearly running the entire restaurant on his own, and despite being stretched thin, he did an excellent job taking care of us. Would not return, and wouldn't recommend unless it's your absolute only option and even then, be prepared to overpay.

Very specious korean restaurant with lots of seating. The parking lot has plenty of spaces. The employees were friendly. The banchan is very limited with only radish kimchi, fish cake, and broccoli. We ordered galbi, galbitang, seafood pancake, and a seafood tofu soup. The seafood pancake was crispy and flavorful. The galbi flavor was nice but the meat for it and the galbitang meat were kind of stiff. I think the galbitang meat can be cooked a little longer or maybe it was the quality of the meat, because usually the meat is very tender and would slide off the bone.

Got the premium combo which included salad, one appetizer, sides and a TON of meat. Incredible food. Seriously ignore the bad reviews. We almost did not come here because of those but had a wonderful experience. Great food, awesome service and really nice staff.

So the next day, while still at the area, my son was craving for more Korean. And so we went back. Helen and the owner were very happy to see us. The owner was so kind and gave us complimentary freshly made sweet potato fries and kimchi soup. Short Rib Soup was light and yet hearty. It was perfect for a rainy cold day. Kimchi soup was a great addition. Japchae and Grilled Pork Bulgogi went so well together with kimchi. It was such a good lunch and nice knowing there's an authentic Korean place in Page, Arizona.

Visiting From CA, We had a really disappointing experience at this Korean BBQ restaurant. We were automatically charged an 18% gratuity, even though the receipt clearly stated that this charge only applies to parties of 4 or more--and we were only 2, yes!! 2! When I brought this up, the staff insisted that the gratuity still applied because we ordered grilled barbecue, which was never mentioned anywhere on the menu or receipt. It felt misleading and unfair. Instead of resolving the issue, they stood by the charge without proper explanation. Transparency and honesty in pricing are very important, and unfortunately, this place did not meet that standard. I wouldn't return based on this experience. SCAAAAM!!!! Grand Opening sign for almost a year wosh!

They are too busy, but they have vegan options. Any beef broth can be replaced. Mike was helpful.

ok I admit I'm spoiled when it comes to food. After all I live in Las Vegas where there's lots of options so my expectation was high when we decided to dine at this place. It is the only Korean bbq restaurant in town it seems and there's a big sign that says "Grand Opening" so we decided to give them a try. I should've looked at the menu before getting seated. That was my mistake and I regret it immediately once we sat down and I ordered. It was NOT an ayce menu and it was pricey. $89 for pork only choices that came with only 3 banchan "sides dishes" and a bowl of salad. It is also a full service dining experience so our server wanted to cook for us but I told her not to pour all our meat on the grill at once and to pour just half, so she asked if I'd like to grill the meat myself and I said yes. I never saw her again after that. She also has a very thick Korean accent so her English was really hard to understand. There were other options with different prices and we chose the package that came with 3 types of pork, a bowl of soup to share, a side of salad and kimchi. They were good and tasty but there's no refill. Our package also states that it's for 2-3 pp and there were only 2 of us dining. I had to flag down another staff to asked for another bowl of rice to go and I was told it'll cost me an extra $3 so I passed. 20% gratuity was automatic which I disagree with a mediocre service. I was also told they no longer serve steamed eggs since the "bird flu" but I think this is to keep down the cost of eggs. No substitution were offered. The venue itself was nice and modern with plenty of space. Music was low and relaxing but I don't remember what was played. Someone came by to offer to refill our water and brought us the bill. There were no dessert offered either. Our bill came out to $120+ for 2 ppl. If you really crave Korean BBQ or never had it before then by all means try this place but for me who's had plenty of ayce KBBQ and paid only $60-$70 and it include dessert, I would wait for better options

Came here after a tour, and we had seen a flyer that said it was new. Every single thing we ate was delicious! The appetizers were great. Beef course for 2-3 persons, included rice, salad, appetizers and ofc bonchon. The service was excellent. We were well tended to, and the owner(at least by his attitude?) was super friendly and informative. The staff seemed to be Korean, so Im sure the other items we didnt get to try are like home. All the front of house staff said bye... with smiles... wow lol. My companions were shocked since we weren't expecting such exuberant service. They offered to cook for us but happily let us be when we declined (although they did give cooking tips). The grill is nice in that you can control the temp yourself, and the fan is more discreet/not top down. The main floor is clean and very cool looking-- separated space for the BBQ and regular dining if you dont like the smell. Food and plates get carried around on little robots. It was pretty pricy in value compared to other places I've been (all you can eat for cheaper, more bonchon, with a sauce bar) but I'm comparing that my current area where there is a huge Asian population and resources for this. 2 negatives: The only thing is that the bathroom weirdly had paper everywhere. I just wonder why the customer base leaves paper around like that?? Also auto 20% gratuity. I was going to tip anyway, but it says auto for parties of 4. We only had a party of 3. When we asked about it thinking it was a mistake, the server said it was just always automatic-- THATS NOT WHAT THE RECEIPT SAYS??? Since I was gonna tip that anyway I left it, but it left a sour note. We generally walked away very full, happy and with leftovers!! (Ordered beef meal for 2-3 people, we were a party of 3). Hit the right spot!

Three servers working Thanksgiving dinner rush. Bless them and their work. That being said the service was a little slower than I would have liked however like I mentioned at the beginning it was just so busy for a holiday dinner for less than five servers. The restaurant is honestly huge and the food was good. I recommend the hot stone bibimbap or their beef bone broth soup. The lighting is good and it wasn't too dark in there.

I was pretty excited, paid ~ $22 for this meal (added extra tofu). However, this place was nothing but disappointment for the price and quality. The food tasted fine - but it was extremely greasy (understand it is fried rice, but still). It had less veggies and there were like two basil leaves - basically not what one would expect. Well, now comes the packaging, for this premium price why would you not pack it in a compostable box, but a styrofoam box with foil paper in it. I was not happy with the wastage created - also a compostable box would have absorbed some oil which would have helped me and this review. Unfortunately, I would only probably not recommend this place much, coz it's not worth the money and did not seem as a healthy or wholesome option for vegetarians. They took my order on my phone and quickly got it ready, that part was great. Thanks for saving me some time. The restaurant looked just okay, nothing fancy. Otherwise, this restaurant is conveniently located in the downtown / restaurant / shopping area. Plenty of parking spots and pretty close to Horseshoe bend (one of my favorites from the trip :))

Some of the wings still showed pink. I asked him if fall off the bone. He said no. He's not a picky eater. I would have been uneasy. I had the japchae. It was a very generous serving. Little bits of beef. Too many green bell peppers. Just right amount of carrots and yam noodles. Served atop rice. A meal in itself. I'd been wanting to try a Korean corn dog but didn't want to pay Bay Area prices. So I ordered one here. It came laced with ketchup & mustard. I was already content with my japchae bap so I only ate half. But I'll give it a try when I get back home for comparison. The business is run by a Korean couple. The wife came out of the kitchen to ask us if we enjoyed the food. Of course we did. They are transplants from Los Angeles. Who knew there'd be an authentic Korean restaurant here. Located in a strip mall with Safeway as the anchor. P.S. we bought a egg & tuna gimbap rolls for later. We had it the next day. Still very good.

This is a buffet restaurant, but we were very disappointed with the quality of the food, especially considering the price. Some of the oranges in the fruit section were already spoiled, which was very unpleasant to see. There was also crawfish, but they were extremely small and had almost no meat in the tails. One person at our table filled a plate with them, but after eating just a few, gave up because there was simply not enough meat to make it worthwhile. Overall, the dishes seemed to be prepared rather carelessly, and we did not feel the food quality matched the price. The food was also heavily seasoned with soy sauce, which made many of the dishes taste overly salty and unappealing. If I had a choice, I would not have chosen this restaurant. The restaurant itself feels quite old and dated, and the food did not look appetizing to me. Unfortunately, this was not a dining experience we would choose to repeat.
