My wife had the Dagwood sandwich. She said it was very good. She asked for crispy bacon almost burnt. They honored her request. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It reminds you of the old diners back in the 60's and 70's. I highly recommend this place. When I travel through Oklahoma on my way to visit relatives in Nebraska, I will stop again.

Burger was good not the best I had but the best I had in the town, my wife enjoyed the chilli and extra cheese overall we are happy with our choices. What I love most about this location is the friendly service. People are so nice in smaller towns and communities. It's also less busy as well. These two things I did not think I'd be saying about McD's as I have not eaten there for years. There were two young gentleman working and the customer service was top notch. Hope the people in Perry have this same experience and hope this McD's can keep these two gentlemen as they were employees that help show great service and present an appearance that McDonald may be a great place to work with the right team on place. We Will definitely return when traveling through in hope for the same fresh food and great service! The location was easy access on and right back onto highway with minimal delays! Five minutes later, the waiter brought out freshly fried chips and homemade salsa large enough for the two of us (came with the enchiladas). The half pound hamburger with bacon and cheese was amazing with a nice smoky flavor and thick cut bacon. The huge portion of enchiladas was also tasty enough to have been served at a Mexican restaurant. We'll definitely be coming back anytime we're in the area!

Had to come WAY out of our way to finally experience one of these Pizza Hut Classic locations. And…read morebeing certified genXers, I've got far more heartfelt opinions than normal. But, the short of it is it's "classic status" is a nice extra, and while it's not really worth the distance we traveled (you don't wanna know how far, we're ridiculous) just to finally see one, it is worth coming a little extra distance, for what may otherwise seem like "just pizza." Obviously, it requires dining inside for the full experience. They have carry-out and a drive-thru, but the decor is made to replicate a location in the 70s/80s, and it's fairly effective. Sadly, this location doesn't have the red roof, but in fairness, even some of them in the day weren't either (hopefully they'll spring for it later). The interior is a lot nearer the full effect. The picnic tableclothes, the gorgeous stain glass light fixtures, the themed pictures, and red tumblers were all very nostalgic. The food itself was as good as any other typical location we've been in, generally. And the staff was nice, if a bit mystified why we came so far just for the "classic". This particular location is unusually large. It's actually a perfect square instead of the typical rectangular shape, because they've made room for a very large party enclosure. The only things this particular classic lacked that I would recommend is pitchers of beer on tap. THAT is a MAJOR nostalgic marker of actual Pizza Huts in the day. Another thing (that may actually exist, but we may have come at too slow of an hour) was the lack of table service. It was order at the counter and they brought to your table. I understand the ins & outs about that, but if we're talking classic, this was missing. In the day, they often had a counter to order, but only for carry-out, and designated wait seating (near the arcade). But dine in would seat and be brought menus, etc. Again, not a big deal at all, but authentic is authentic. What's funny is we have a great Pizza Hut location close to home we frequent that, while it's not officially "classic" has these two aspects in use. So, if I were to magically smoosh these two locations into one, I could make the total 70s/80s experience to a tee. Anyway, they had a contemporary arcade game "approximation", free to play, and fun, but (understandibly) not a true vintage game, and some retro tabletop activities to take to your table. One last petty thing I wish they had was some sort of souvenir-ish thing, like some stickers, or branded red tumblers to celebrate the visit. I know that's probably far more than the locals think anyone would care about, but I would have wanted something. Anyway, I plan to visit more of these classic locations and make comparisons, but this was a fun start and wife and I enjoyed coming, eating and taking a few Polaroids. Thanks!

This chain allows you to swap both the drink and side for something dairy based. In my case, I swapped the pop for a small chocolate shake and the fries for a Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt with peach was fantastic. No sugary syrup, just real pieces of peach. Would've gotten some to take home if I had a bigger fridge and cooler. The chocolate shake was the perfect amount for a road trip. Nice and sweet, 10/10 would get it again. The bacon cheeseburger was also fantastic. Not overly greasy. The vegetables didn't wilt from the heat of the burger. Meaty and cheesy, 10/10 would get it again. Staff were kind and friendly. Lady doublechecked to ensure I got the right things and even made a quick run to the retail section to get my yogurt. The retail section is small grocery with ice cream flavors galore! I wished I lived local, except my waist line thanks me. Plenty of parking, and they have a drive thru as well. When in Texas or Kansas, make sure to stop by when you're hungry!

I wish my Dairy Queen made blizzards this good! My DQ in Yukon, you ask for extra, extra, extra snickers and it's like eating vanilla ice cream with a touch of chocolate. This place, you don't ever have to ask for extra (which I pay for at my DQ which isn't bad except I never get it) and it's just full of snickers. My husband got the butterfinger and it was amazing too! Yummy blizzards aside, staff have always been very kind and professional.
