I've been going to Houlton for a good 25 years and have never been to Presque Isle so my hubby and I set out on a car trip for 45 minutes. Drive was nice and it was sweetened by meeting up with friends from Rangeley who were up snowmobiling. They recommended meeting up at Ferris BBQ so we put in the GPS and off we went. Ample parking, clear signage, and entrance clearly marked. Found our friends at the bar waiting for us. Bartender came right up after we said our hellos, gave us menus and told us what the specials were. We had had a late breakfast so not really all that hungry. We looked at the menu and decided to share the Brisket nacho fries. I enjoyed perhaps a little too much their specialty margarita "chocolate covered strawberry" oh my! I had two they were sooo good. The chocolate rim was semi sweet chocolate with sea salt yum! The Brisket nacho fries were amazing. The brisket was super tender, almost melted in my mouth so good. Fries were crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside. We dove in so fast and was having such a good conversation a picture of the nachos is missing. Decor was BBQ type theme with metal signage with cute sayings. Ample tables and a good sized bar. Friendly staff and good food, I'll have to come back again in the summer when we visit again.

We were promptly seated and presented with menus. They have a full bar. I got a michelob ultra and was offered bottle or draft. I've watched too much of the show Bar Rescue to know a lot of establishments don't clean their draft lines, so I opted for a bottle with a glass. The glass was frozen- you gotta love a beer in a frozen glass, always so much better! We ordered our pizzas and our breadsticks and the breadsticks came out first as an appetizer should. They were very good but possibly a bit too cheesy. They were stuffed with cheese. I would probably get them again. The marinara dip they came with had no extra fee, we live on the extreme southern end of the state and often places down our way will charge an extra $2 or $3 dollars more for a dip cup. Northern Maine never stops surprising me! The pizzas were delivered to our table just as we finished our breadsticks-perfect timing! The pizza was really good. The dough tasted fresh, it was thin with a slight crunch. The sauce was tangy, like a Greek style pizza sauce. The toppings were just the right amount. There are so many options and flavors for coffees! I got the cinnamon bun iced coffee and boy was it delicious. The pastries and donuts were too hard to choose from. We've been there every single week since moving here and they're seriously always so kind, fast, and pleasant. Even the workers are very consistent with how they treat customers and how they put together the food! No this isn't a restaurant where you'd get an outstanding meal from a master chef, it's fast food and it does a fantastic job at it! The prices are fair, and with the consistency it has a much better value. They don't skimp on stuff either such as toppings or sauce packets, food is handed over nice and hot, the foods cooked well or recooked well lol, and hopefully that never changes! It's definitely worth going here unless you absolutely hate fast food. It's saves us time so we can get home on whatever night we decide to go, no dishes, want a cheap meal, and we don't have to cook! I almost forgot to mention the corned beef Reuben! Nope not as good as some I've had in my life, but nowhere can I get a Reuben in a drive through. This seriously makes me so happy since Reuben's have been my favorite sandwich since I was little. I never really got them since they can be quite expensive in a restaurant meal. Here I can get one and it fills that hole in my stomach just fine! I hope they never remove this as this is something very unique and wonderful. Super happy to have this Arby's near us and grateful for all of the people who work here and who run it.
