I marked mine down to 3 star because I had multigrain bread, and the strange grain taste overwhelmed everything else, and I've had better meatballs. The Hunny liked hers, and was pleasantly surprised to see bacon in there. For the less important things: Decor didn't really stand out. Service was with a smile. I joked about getting multigrain bread ("can you tell I'm from California?"), and the girl said "so's my boyfriend. He loved this one sandwich shop where he came from, and he said that Potbelly is better!" I doubt that anything can beat Capriotti's, but maybe there are selections at Potbelly that do. I'll need to investigate, heh heh. I ate at Firehouse Subs some time ago, and I think their food is better. The panini was cooked well and the chicken was juicy. My wife got BBQ chicken quesadillas, made with pulled chicken not diced, and it was also excellent. I closed with what they call the Espresso Float. Shots of espresso poured over your choice of ice cream (homemade in house). I got praline crunch ice cream, which was great.
