i don't usually go to this sonic, in fact i don't think i've ever been here before…read more recently some sonic's have undergone a revamp and gotten tap pay added to their stalls, unfortunately for me roland isn't on that bandwagon yet. that's okay, previously i've seen carhops at multiple different locations, in multiple different states, simply take my card info and input it into the kiosk or go inside and use it on their card machines. i also was employed when i was 17 and would frequently do that for customers. well i had asked my carhop if she could take my phone and use my cashapp info to pay for the order. we are familiar with cashapp layout, it has the card numbers and money amount displayed right in front of your face. i guess the problem was the payment didn't go through. for a $31.34 order. the money displayed on my cashapp balance was $55. the carhop came out and said "the card didn't go through." okay wonderful. my sister is on the way with a physical card, do you need the food back until then? she went and talked to her manager and came back. apparently they were able to try one more time but said that if it doesn't go through my sister is not allowed to pay for it, they will decline the sale entirely. how weird.. i don't think i can even lie when i say that has never ever happened to me in food service before. i work at a smoke shop, i decline sales all day for a numerous amount of reasons. just for them to not even put my card in right because it didn't charge at all, they put it in again and it worked. weird. human error, but weird discrimination??? you tell me. i didn't get any of my sauces or my cheese for my pretzel and my coke tasted like it was out of flavor with vanilla added.

This is literally the only sonic I trust out of all the ones I've been to across five states. That's hard to come by these days with everyone trying to cut corners somewhere. Thai coffee and Thai tea were excellent. Not too sweet or bitter. We all enjoy our pho, suki and Ladna. The ladna is one of the best I've tried. Even better than some of Thai restaurants around Dallas metroplex. Stop by if you are in the area or passing through. They are not too far off I-40.
