Hash browns were crunchy . I got the recommended smothered and covered but don't see what the hype is . It's solid food served at all hours so I guess that's the draw . Texas melt with bacon was very salty . read more

The employees here are amazing. All working super hard to get you your food as fast as possible. They're extremely polite and caring. It is pretty noisy, but that's Waffle House. Food is good, the quality I would expect at a place like this. I would definitely return if I'm ever passing through again. read more

This is a chill spot to eat at anytime of day or night and the food is good and service is great! So for all you truckers and drivers or people travel this country if you ever near this place stop in and get a good hot meal and fill your belly!!! We came in and we should have walked out when it took them 13 minutes to even just recognize us. Carly Rea told us just to sit anywhere and my reply was we would but everything available is filthy. She told me she would clean something. That did not happen until a spot at the bar became available. Fine she got out drinks and that was probably the best part of the meal except the coffee. The coffee was burnt and old we asked for fresh coffee Carly Rea said ok and just filed the cup up with the same coffee that has been sitting there. After we sat for almost 30 minutes we were finally able to place our order. The cook seemed stressed but held er composure. Seemed like she was training Evan and Carly Rea. However I ordered a side of gravy with my breakfast/dinner. The server did tell me I would have to remind her because she would probably forget. So we got our food. I reminded Carly Rae about my gravy she said ok thank you. Got my daughter some more sprite and no gravy. I reminded her again can I please have my gravy she said sorry and yes then brought my husband jelly finally. Still no gravy. Now that my food has an extremely cold Carly Rae asked if everything was ok because I didn't touch my food. I said I'm sure it would have been fine if I could have ever gotten my gravy. Her words let me go get it now. I said no just get me a Togo box so I can go home and warm my dinner up and make my own gravy. She put my dinner in a Togo box and a side of gravy. Now I get to go home and make fresh eggs because warmed up eggs are gross and redo my dinner we paid for. Carley Rea seemed very high stressed and the other server Evan was completely useless. All he did was just keep walking back and forth saw how busy Carly Rea was and he just refused to do anything to help. We will never be back. Like I said now I have to go home and redo my dinner while my family was able to enjoy theirs. When I travel around the country with my band, things often get tense. Especially in the mornings when everybody is tired, grumpy and hungry. Usually more trouble arises when we try to agree on a place to eat breakfast. This is were Waffle House comes in. Waffle House is the only breakfast spot that we all can agree on and are happy with. Last time I went to Waffle House, the place was almost empty. The waitress finally came to my table, took my order and never brought us our drinks. After waitress stood their talking and goofing around, I noticed our food as just sitting their waiting to be brought to our table. She then went in the back while our food continued to sit. Eventually, she came back out and brought us our cold food and watery drinks. I told the man with the big black heads, greasy hair, and scummy green teeth that our food was cold and he said the waitress was having a bad day. I went in to Waffle House again today and it wasn't busy. We sat at the bar for 10 minutes, but no one took our orders. Other people came in and their orders were taken. Finally, I went to another table, thinking that green teeth might take my order if I sat over there. I waited another 5 minutes while green teeth stood around looking for something to do. He finally came over and asked what wanted to drink. I asked if we could get our table wiped down.(It had syrup and crumbs all over it.) He told me not to tell him how to do his job. He has been working there for years. I realized that I was not going to get good food or service so I got up and left. Green teeth was not concerned because no one stays there to work. He feels like he can treat people however he wants, because according to him, Waffle house can't keep staff. Its never good when you are about to eat at a restaurant for the first time and your experience is terrible. Waited for 20 minutes to be seated, while other customers waited behind me, when a customer walks in cuts in line and was seated right away. Fin, the host, was inconsiderate and didn't even kindly tell the customer we were next to be seated. On top of it all was not apologetic for the situation. Its no surprise I walked out and took my business elsewhere. A good suggestion is, train, train, and train your staff to provide good customer service and you'd be surprised how much more business will be gained. read more

Horrible. First they made my eggs wrong, than took plate and brought hash browns back without eggs. I had to tell them to take the hash browns back as they would be cold. By the time I got my food everyone else at my table was done eating and had their dishes cleared. If they cared about customer service they would have offered to take my meal off the bill. read more

I've always loved coming here. My friends and I come all the time and have always had a great experience. But my friend and i came in and we're friendly and asked how the lady (savanah) was and her response was "ready to go home, I've been here since 2pm" and my friend was trying to be positive about it and said "at least you have a job and you're getting your money" and she continues to complain about how she only gets 2.50 an hour, then my friend said "you're making more than you would be sitting at home". Then when we were trying to order the pork chop dinner we were informed that they didn't have enough pork chops to full fill two orders so we asked for another minute to decide on something else to order we heard savanah talking bad about us because we wanted to find something else. So when hearing that we decided to leave because as a customer we shouldn't be talked bad about while we are trying to find something else to eat. We had come here the night before tonight and the cook (sycillya) was a rock star. I've never had complaints about the food with the cook, it just seems that the waitresses are always bummed about being there and Savanah is the worst one I've had. stopped in at the local waffle house last night for a quick dinner with my girlfriend and it was the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. I ordered bacon on a biscuit with hash browns scattered. when the food was brought to me, the biscuit was cold, the bacon was severely underdone and the hash browns were packed into the tightest wad I've ever seen. I had to send the bacon back twice before it was finally cooked correctly. on top of the bad food, the waitress gave me attitude about everything I asked for, even though I kept my composure and didn't show any anger toward her, even after all of her rudeness. read more

I sat down asked if they had chicken and waffles. The waitress replied that they did. I was pumped because I drove an extra 15 mins for them. I asked for a coffee in the mean time. I got black water which is what they would propose to be coffee. Crap. Worst cup of Joe I've had in a long time. I think I'd prefer coffee from a 7 11 coffee at 3:30 am...... Anyways, I could barely hold conversation with my eating companion because of the loud jargon held by the employment inside the WH. As 5 employees stand in a circle talking with overbearing, exaggerated laughter start to build on my nerves as I proceed to wait. Even managed to catch an elderly employee coughing multiple times on some "healthy" wonder bread as she was spreading delicious packaged preserved butter. I was handed my waffle with a plastic butter container on top of the fluffy tiled sweet cakes. As I was still hunger and excited for my waffle chicken duo, the waitress said my chicken will be done in a second. So I spread my butter and wait. 30 secs pass 1 min passes, 3 mins pass. At 5min I received a chicken breast which was grilled and smaller than a quail breast. By this time, waffle was cold and I was confused to have never eaten chicken and waffles with grilled chicken. I mean isn't this understood? Maybe I'm crazy. Anyways, I ate it bc I was hungry tried not to complain. After I was done we received the bill.... the food was the fuse the bill was the bomb. It exploded. We paid $17.02 for 3 waffles, a baby chicken breast, hash browns and two coffees with no refills. We debated hibachi grill or Waffle House. Shoulda picked the hibachi. I could of had two plates of salmon and rice with veggies for that price. I'll never go to this Waffle House again. I'm a local too! Good looking WH though bc it was brand new. Stopped by new location in VB today. My food was good but my husband's eggs were wrong, grits were very lumpy and waffle was overdone! I ordered coffee and never got a refill then had to ask sever in passing for a to go coffee because I was done eating and wanted more. Very very disappointed in service :( read more
