Here we are on day one of the opening of the newest Chick-fil-A in Fort Smith, Arkansas! This location is at the intersection of I 540 and Phoenix Avenue in Fort Smith Arkansas. I will say it's the first time I've ever been to a Chick-fil-A located next to an X-rated bookstore. That's kind of odd but then again that's kinda OF FORT SMITH Arkansas too! The food was fantastic. The service was great as always. We did have an issue with ordering as the item that we wanted was not coming up on the menu as it should, and the manager ended up working with us and gave us a discount because of the amount of time it took us to solve the problem... If I could give zero stars I totally would! The fries tasted like they were cooked in nasty grease, the chicken too. I done a mobile order and it still took about 20 mins to move through the line and get our order. The sweet tea tasted like it hadn't been made fresh in days and they also only put like 3 Ice cubes in my drink. I will not be back! Not pleased at all! My friend and I ran into Chick-fil-A with five minutes to spare to be at school. They asked what the rush was and I told I had to be at school so they as quick as they our food and we're cheering us on as we sprinted out the door to go to class. Only about 6 months ago service was fast, the employees were friendly, and they possessed a level of professionalism. That is all gone. I placed my order thru the app at 7:14 am, arrived at 7:30 am, and did not get my cold food and watered-down drink until 8:00 am. Why must I wait 30 minutes in a drive-thru line?? He did neglect to put my name on the order but still very courteous. Mr Kelly in the dining room did a fantastic job of showing me genuine hospitality. I ordered a catered breakfast and was so pleased with the service from Chick-Fil-A. The phone representative helped me decide on what food to get based on my amount of people and it was easy to purchase by giving my credit card number. The delivery gentleman got a little bit lost but that wasn't a problem because he called and I pointed him in the right direction! They handed my my order papers and were gone. I was very disappointed in this CFA today we went and they weren't busy maybe 2 people inside and few cars drive thru the workers acted like they had no clue what they were doing. After waiting 15 mins for our food that wasn't special just normal menu items it was cold and the fries were hard ,old & cold as well. the bun was hard and the chicken was cold! Chick-fil-A is great. I have never had a meal that I didn't enjoy or had any issues with customer service. Everyone in my family enjoys a variety of things from the menu. I change it up from time to time, but my favorite will always be the chicken nuggets with Polynesian sauce, waffle fries and lemonade. I'm a fan! read more

Pretty disappointed in the service and good quality. Having working in a Chick-fil-a restaurant before, I still prefer this company to most, but am critical as to what I've experienced at other CFAs. We had a catering order a few weeks ago. They rang our order correctly and then gave us nuggets instead of strips and forgot our sweet tea. We don't live close, so it was not an option for us to return for a refund that night. Recently, our orders were met with soggy buns and poor service. Not even receiving the Chick-fil-a recognized saying of "my pleasure" but one time. All in all, each visit has made us feel subpar. read more

This location is always packed and the staff does a great job of getting through the lines quickly, but they need to pay attention to the details and get each order complete.
