Busy airport day, they were out of lettuce, tomato, rotisserie chicken, and only had white and herbs and cheese bread. An employee came out of the back talking to herself about how all the bread was burnt (assuming the bread baking in the back). Chip selection was picked over. Managed to get stuff we could/would eat... 3 foot longs alone (no meal or drinks) was $45! Ridiculous. At least they announced missing toppings so people could go elsewhere if they wanted. read more

I'm not sure who those people were in there making sandwiches yesterday but they definitely weren't subway employees! The man had at least 80 sprayed of old musk cologne on had trouble taking orders. When my sandwich came out of the oven he lifted my melted cheese and meat up and started stuffing handfuls of peppers UNDER the meat.. who makes sandwiches like that?! He kept saying that's how he likes his. Which makes no sense because I know subway had standards they have to follow. My sandwich looked so baked up and raggedy! read more

If I could rate it a 0 I would. What a complete disaster. Dirty counters, limited food choices, broken register printer, no sandwich bags, and very frustrated employees. Something was definitely wrong. Took 25 minutes to serve the 11 people in front of me and that was after several people walked out. The people at this location don't pay attention, are lazy and sloppy when they put the sandwiches together, to the point I had to tell them they are dropping meat and cheese off our sandwiches. They spent time talking and complaining to each other rather than engaging customers. The eating area was filthy. read more

We stood in line FOREVER. Making us late for our flight, my husband had to beg the gate to wait. I asked the lady behind the counter if she could check us out ahead of another customer so we could make our flight and she did not even acknowledge that i was speaking to her. No eye contact, so rude! When we did finally check out she actually moved slower!!! If i didnt have to sprint for my flight i would have gotten her name. Seriously needs an attitude check. read more

Filthy Subway in filthy airport. Cashier/subway jockey threw a tantrum when he mistakenly thought my wife directed a "jesus" at him (she was talking to me- had nothing to do with him, his failure to use gloves properly, the 30 minute wait, or the filth everywhere). He dropped the sandwich and stormed off and ranted to his co-workers. When he did come back it was to ignore us and start on another sandwich (same unclean gloves). Great job Delaware North- a true leader in hospitality. Do yourself a favor- skip this place like your health depends on it! read more

After a long grounded flight, we were starving, and a subway sandwich sounded like a great meal. While standing there waiting to place the order for our toppings (sandwiches were half made), the two employees began to argue about why one employee was covering sandwiches with a wrapper in between stations. Employee one said it was because little bugs were flying around. Employée two shot back that it did not matter because the bugs are already all over the food anyway. This has to have been the worst service I have seen at a Subway. If you have trouble understanding foreign people then maybe you shouldn't be working at a Subway in an airport. Two out the the three workers that were behind the counter at 8:15pm on August 15th, 2023 were absolutely rude to a woman that wasn't able to speak the best English. Not only were they making comments but one actually yelled at the customer. On top of the rude customer, they made subs like crap. I wouldn't recommend this subway to anyone in the Detroit area, let alone DTW Airport. If I could pick zero stars, I would. read more

I didn't experience the slowness of previous patrons. There was ample people working, making sandwiches, and collecting the money. I thought they were very generous with the toppings. The workers were pleasant and friendly. The problem I had was my foot long was $8.99 and had it not been at the airport or would be much cheaper. I just didn't have time to stop and pick a sandwich up before coming to the airport. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Customer service was horrible from the associate Remi/Remmy , however you spell it since I had to ask multiple times for her name and a manager. The gentleman that initially assisted me was great! I asked if he could change his gloves since I don't eat meat/ animal products and he was more than willing to do so. The other associate, listed above, had the worst attitude when I asked for the glove change for cross contamination. She made snide comments about changing her gloves with another associate. Bottom line, she was rude and her behavior was unnecessary. If I had know a small request would cause her to behave that way, I would have went somewhere else. Also, it wasn't busy, so that was not a factor. She should not be in the food or customer service industry. read more

Holy moly the service is slow, the people are slow, avoid this place at all cost. I have never thought that subway can be so challenging , you literally took 25 mins to make a sandwich, it was painful to watch and painful to experience.
