I've always wanted to try this place. It has a similar concept to Chipotle and I was very hungry after not eating anything the whole day. I went with the fajita vegetables, rice, black beans, queso, lettuce, and guacamole burrito. I don't ever waste food/money but I was not able to eat this. It was not good, the way it was wrapped to how it all came together in the tortilla which wasn't warmed made it inedible. read more

My flight was delayed, so I grabbed Qdoba near my gate. Big mistake. I ordered a Grilled Adobo Chicken bowl. I had to repeat every single topping to the server. At checkout, the cashier couldn't figure out what I ordered and didn't get a response from the server when she asked, so I clarified. She charged me for a Cholula bowl (more expensive), insisting it was the same thing as the Grilled Adobo Chicken bowl. Spoiler: it wasn't. The chicken was cold, the flavors were bland, and this was hands down the worst Qdoba experience I've ever had. I love the chain, but I'll never visit this location again. read more

We needed lunch at the Detroit airport. There was a Gordon Biersch with table service but we decided against it because we didn't have much time before boarding for our next flight. There was a Qdoba right next to a chick-Fil-A. Hubby made a beeline for Chick-Fil-A, but I thought a healthy bowl would be better. I hated it. I picked out all the grilled chicken, and the rest of the bowl went into the trash. I think it was the salsa, which was on everything, was what I didn't like. I wished I had gone with hubby. When initially seeing the Qdoba I thought the prices were reasonable for an airport and the bowls came with guacamole which is unheard of at Chipotle. I also liked the variety of toppings including pickled onion, pickled jalapeño, and a variety of salsas. I wish they offered both brown and white rice. However, when eating the bowl I found that everything lacked flavor and kinda all tasted the same. I could see the salsa but couldn't really taste it. Horrible. Don't get me wrong. I am a big lover of Qudoba but I stopped for guac. and chips at Detroit Metro before a flight. Prices were well over what I normally pay l. the chips had to be three days old, full of grease, almost rancid and the guacamole was a mashed avocado, no onions, no cilantro no seasoning absolutely horrible. This Qdoba has improved tremendously since my last review. I actually avoided it for several years, choosing other options when at this airport. But today I gave it another try, as I was craving a burrito. First, the employees were all exceptionally friendly and cheerful. They were helpful, too, because I ordered a veggie burrito they said they were out of veggies but would be happy to cook more for me if I could wait ten minutes. They invited me to have a seat while they cooked the vegetables. While I waited I observed their interactions with other customers and they were pleasant and helpful to everyone. We are a captive audience at the airport, not many food options. So it is greatly appreciated to find a crew that is actually interested in providing great customer service. Travelers definitely appreciate pleasant service, and this was a very nice experience today. read more

If you want Mexican food in the airport that's fast this is an option! Now was it the best ever? No, it's a qdoba in an airport. Lack luster employees who probably wrapped one of the worst burritos I've had. However, I was starving after an international flight and was grateful for the food. Lots of seating around this area and pink berry, and chick fil a too! If you're lucky someone will be playing the piano! read more
