Decades ago, Eegee's used to be one of my go-to spots. Over the years, however, the sandwiches became dry and started tasting like mostly bread. Slice and Ice did not disappoint. Their Italian three-meat and cheese hero was delicious. The sandwich was not dry at all, and you could really taste the meats and fillings. It paired perfectly with their fries dipped in the ranch sauce. I honestly cannot think of another combination that goes together so well. Service was friendly and fast. I hope this place becomes my new go-to spot, just like Eegee's was for me years ago.

The hype is REAL, I loved my meal. The fries paired with my melt were crunchy, perfectly hot, and the right color! I topped my meal off with a sugar-free lemonade to make myself feel better hahaha. Whataburger does make a good enough burger to pay that price every few years.

They could try to increase the outside covered seating area a bit as it was difficult to find seats. We also found the iconic double crossed palm trees in the parking lot. Very cool.
