I asked what was in it and the person at the register said "onion and celery" and then said hold on a minute I think she's making it to order. That's when the owner stepped up and told me she likes to make it to order to keep it as fresh as possible and leaving out the celery and onion wasn't an issue. That one on one and the freshness of this sandwich will definitely have me returning more often. So, I ordered an egg salad grinder with lettuce, tomato and black olives. It came on a very fresh Italian sub roll and it was just delicious! You've never had anything fresher (see pic). Every sandwich comes with a choice of side. I got the Cole slaw. I'm super picky about slaw. This was a very good slaw. Nothing but fresh cabbages and a light dressing (that I don't know ingredients of). They also bake their own muffins and cookies so of course I had to get one of each. I got a chocolate chip cookie and a pistachio chocolate chip muffin. The cookie was ok. The chocolate chips were very good but the cookie itself was too "Italian bakery cookie"-like. I haven't had the muffin yet but will update once I have. Just one suggestion, It would be nice if they would add some additional vegan/vegetarian sandwich options. There are so many great meat (protein) alternatives available now that having a vegan chicken sandwich or burger should be standard at all places like this.
