I was very sick and canceled my appointment all they care about is money when I really needed severe help I can see why they have such bad reviews now they sent me in a $75 bill in this economy who can pay that? I Came in because I was living in physical therapy and dragging my right foot. Dr TARR said you will never go to physical therapy again if you get the orthotics( 450$) and follow directions which I did. I went back in after another problem with these expensive orthotics and he left me on the way out with the words " I guess you won't need to see me again" . In my lifetime i have never had a dr say that to me when I was Leaving their office. I was angry. I now have a new podiatrist who had to modify his orthotics he sold me. I have absolutely No Respect for this man that is only about money, he doesn't give you any time. He couldn't be bothered. Shame Shame on you Dr Tarr!!! I saw Dr. Tarr for what I thought was a painful callus on the sole of my left foot but turned out to be a Planter wart. The first appointment was fine. The second appointment was this past Monday and he used a scalpel to cut deeply into healthy skin and tissue around the wart. He offered no explanation as to what he was doing and why he was doing it. I walked out of his office limping and in severe pain, which I had not experienced prior to that visit. I could not put any weight on my left foot. On Wednesday the pain was still severe and I could not walk without limping. I went to a walk in clinic and they advised me to go to the ER or call my PCP. I called my PCP and they referred me to another podiatrist. I saw him yesterday and he was communicative, caring and compassionate. Needless to say, he is my new podiatrist. Email me through Yelp if you'd like his contact information. The two women who work at Sudbury Podiatry were rude, unprofessional and totally indifferent to me, both as a patient and a person. Additionally, the printed instructions that were handed to me had the name of another patient on them who is also being treated for a Plantar wart. I HATE MY DOCTOR! AND I LOVE MY DOCTOR!!! Second visit, post op - AS OUTSTANDING as the first! I can't "forgive him" for putting my foot out of commission for six weeks - thus the hate. But for the permanent solution to chronic pain and other issues - HE ROCKS! His staff is great, office is clean and bright (Sudbury Office). If you have podiatric issues - DONT DELAY (like I did). Do yourself a favor and go visit Dr. Tarr ASAP. Great sense of humor, compassionate, professional. His staff is always smiling and cheery. Thank god for Sudbury Podiatry! Dr. Tarr took me in right away, and the office staff couldn't have been kinder or friendlier. A pedicure gone wrong was fixed with no pain and careful attention. I was super anxious and they all had me laughing and ready to go in no time. They followed up with me to make sure I was taking care of myself and following the after procedure cleaning routine. They also made sure my prescription was ready at CVS before I left. I can not recommend them anymore! Five stars is simply not enough. Great personal service and care from the doctor and his staff. They took wonderful care of me when I had an injury and fit me right in when the office opened. Much more comfortable then a trip to the ER for a foot Xray and treatment plan. Highly recommend to everyone. read more

When many, many fancy, expensive Boston sports med docs couldn't help me with horrible foot pain over 5 years, I thought I'd never walk well again. I was only in my 30s, and seemed doomed. One day, I decided to see a local podiatrist instead of the usual Boston contingent. Dr.Tarr checked me out, prescribed some very different orthotics vs. what I'd had been using, and VOILA! Walking again, PAIN FREE, for the first time in years! Later, after I was running for awhile, I developed horrible pain around my big toe. Turned out I had a bone spur on the top of my big toe joint. Dr. Tarr did surgery, and I was pain-free again. Such relief. He warned the spur could come back, but it never has. :) Lately, I've had to have orthotics re-furbished, and he and his staff were super and efficient. I love the staff. They were all collaborating w/Dr. Tarr on my chronic pain fixes, and they all have made my life so much better. read more

"Staff always smiling and cheery!"?? Lady I think you reviewed the wrong place!..With 6 ladies at the desk you'd think one of them could smile? Was a newish patient of Dr.Tarr. I cancelled an appointment the night before with his answering service. Guess what? They never got the message from the Service!! Guess what else... Dr.Tarr bills me $50 for a missed appt!! (knowing that I am on Disability and not able to work). Nice huh? Oh it gets better..After several calls to his office to clear this up, I am accused of lying that I called to cancel the appt in the first place, then a receptionist there says I missed 3 previous appts as a "no show"!??? Wtf?? I told her No way! That wrong! I have called way earlier in the day b/c of emergencies in the past, but they consider that a "no show"?? So as they wouldn't clear out this $50 and of course I'm refusing to pay it..months go by and I find out it's now up to $70+ and being reported on my credit report. Wow Bryant!! Is business that BAD that you need to charge late fees on false missed appointments? You were a jerk to me in elementary school and I see you're still a jerk. I had several visits with Dr. Bryant Tarr over a year ago. He recommended orthotics for me. I could hardly believe how expensive they were -- $400 for some very skimpy inserts. When I tried them as he prescribed, just a little bit at first and then more time each day, I experienced severe leg cramping. When I explained this to him on a follow-up visit, he tried to convince me that it was because I was being negative, that the problem was my attitude. When I suggested he was not hearing me, he became all the more adamant that it was my negative attitude that was the problem. Over time the cramps abated, but I am left with a very bad taste from this guy's arrogance and intolerance. Based on my experience, I recommend that you seek a doctor with more willingness to listen and understand. read more
