Thanks to Siri directed me to Jays Auto Repair shop, and slowly I arrived 5 minutes before they closed. No hesitation from the employees, they took the scanner to check the codes and the problem was quickly diagnosed. I was told by a "Warehouse Store Tire Center" that I had an issue with stripped threads on a right…read morerear wheel stud and should have a mechanic replace it. I've used D&J before and liked their work so I went back. They got me in quickly and began working on my car. They could not find the reported problem but rather then sending me on my way they also inspected the other wheels incase the problem was in a different location. No stripped threads found. I'm very happy using D&J for my auto repairs and service. I trust their opinions and there work.

Was it a loose belt, a bad belt or my alternator? Well, none of the above!!! It was something completely different that NEVER would have occured to me! My air conditioner was causing the noise... go figure! MO-Tech took care of the problem very promptly and it was a little more than $100 dollars plus they went through the entire vehicle and took care of all my fluid levels as well as taking care of my tires as well! My truck, a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer, has a fairly high number of miles yet it continues to run incredibly smooth thanks to the Bob and the guys at Auto Technicians. My first experience with them was a generic overhaul of my truck, providing them with a great test to verify their honesty and their integrity. I brought it in, asked them to go over everything and let me know what all I needed to do to allow me a couple more years of service out of it. I expected to hear back an impossibly high number given the age and mileage. I also knew of a couple of problems the vehicle was having, but withheld the information in the hopes they would find it. They did so, but the actual cause of the trouble was not what I thought it was so they actually saved me quite a bit of money in repairing that. They also found several items that were also in need of repair, some more important and some less. They quoted me a price that was extremely reasonable for the repair work done. A day or so into the repair, they found something wrong with the vehicle that they had missed but it was something that I brought up to them originally. They apologized for missing it and made it right for me by only charging me for the parts, not the labor on that particular repair. I didn't request it at all, as I didn't really feel like it was a failure on their part since they did find it eventually even though it wasn't part of the estimated price. They simply wanted to make it right for me. To me, that speaks volumes to their integrity and honesty. Once the repair was finished, I came in under the new estimated cost with the added repair as they were able to find a couple savings on parts. A+ as far as I am concerned. My second repair done by them was very recently my Coolant refused to stay within my vehicle and as they found out my radiator had come apart, as is apparently quite common with Mountaineers. They provided me an estimate that seemed fair, others I know that have had replacements had paid 500+ for theirs. They performed the work in a day and I had it back the morning after. It was an exceptional job as had been done previously and my car is back to running like a champ. I would recommend Auto Technicians, they are honest, quiet reasonable turnaround times for as popular as they are, and are very easy to work with.

October 2025- I had a tiny oil leak in the upper and lower intake gasket on my Jeep Wrangler JK…read more Todd and Jacob were very professional, helpful, and communicative. Todd even took the time to explain the leak and show me the problem gaskets. The shop is very clean and the team is very friendly. Todd is also a Jeep Wrangler owner so now I know who I will come back to in the future in Midland. They offer warranty on their work and parts also. They saved me over $1,000 had I done this at the dealer. I'm so happy.
