Been going to them for years and have refered many people to them. I had a tooth with a root canal that had cracked but had to wait because of the covid lock down 6 months, so when I finally got in , they cleaned my teeth im thinking ok they will fix my tooth before I leave ,NOPE WRONG ! Instead I was ushered out with a 6k treatment plan of mainly deep scaling , which we all know there is no certainty if you need that or not until they actually do it. So guess what next day my tooth broke off the one I wanted fixed that I had spent almost a grand on , I was soooooo angry .. In my area I live dentist aren't taking new patients at all so a year later i had to go back in to get it fixed and another tooth , I have a discount plan not actual insurance THANKS JOE BIDEN ! Anyway receptionist insisted I was not covered , and after 1 hour of speaking with her and the place i have my plan through she had given them the wrong account number and yes I was covered , so got my teeth fixed went to pay and it was $63 so I didn't think nothing of it until the next I came in to get another tooth fixed . I got in the chair and even brought another customer for them that day ,told to swish and spit and then I was told to go to the front desk, so I got up and the receptionist told me that I wasn't covered until she saw my face and said im sorry yes you are, let me me show you what the prices are and I replied I don't care what they are I need my tooth fixed , I have over 1/2 million dollars in my savings account not to worried about 4 or 500 dollars to get my tooth fixed so I went back to the chair sat down and here she comes telling my I owed $385 from my last visit which totally through me off guard with the amount, as I have never paid that much at wellington dental other than with my root canals ,and so I said something isnt right here and now this is an issue as I charged $63 not told I owed $385 and then I was told to call my plan and find out so by now I WAS MADE TO FEEL LIKE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN , ANGRY , PISSED paid the $385 and left AND WILL NEVER COME BACK NOR RECOMMEND TO ANOTHER SOUL ! read more

OK...round two...I went back to Dr. Yann for my temporary crown (initial diagnosis a week ago)...and had a giant cavity or two along with that. I will report when I receive my "final" crown in two weeks. Here is my synopsis: 1) Waiting room: spotless (cable/current magazines/coffee/water); 2) Waiting time: always minimal; (reiterate: always) 3) Assistants/technicians/front desk: top notch; (always professional - and nice); 4) When I require any numbing medication (for my errant cavities/caries)...Dr. Yann makes sure that ANY procedure involves the least amount of discomfort; 5) In closing: I cannot emphasize enough...I have spent most of my life in Manassas...and this dentist is the best one...BY FAR. Put your dental phobia to rest...have a problem...or need a checkup - this dentist is the bestist. read more

I see I'm not the only one who thought this place was on the shady side, and I don't mean of the street. The first time I went, they did a rush job on the cleaning and exam. When I went back for my next 6-month cleaning, I had a different dentist who dug into my old fillings like she was mining them for gold (sorry, they're just old-school amalgam). She claimed that every one of my fillings was cracked and in imminent danger of falling out within the next few months. They urged me to make two appointments to have them redone one side of my mouth at a time and quoted a hefty fee for it all. I was skeptical and didn't go through with it. Fast-forward eight months to a new dental practice in Woodbridge, who did all the x-rays and detailed exam (no picking) and said my fillings are in great shape and should last quite a few more years. So yeah, not trustworthy at all. What is it about Manassas and these ginned-up "crisis" dental offices, anyway? read more

Wellington Dental has been my favorite Dental office by far. The staff is very accommodating, and will often attempt to fit you in if you have an urgent need. Dr. Yann has always provided me with the best dental care. I had previously gone to another Dental office had had given me a treatment plan that Dr. Yann did not deem necessary as he was able to fill the tooth, rather than place a crown on the tooth. read more

This is one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had in my life. Let me preface this by saying I actually like the dentist, but after leaving this place I can understand why people hate the dentist or refuse to go. The office staff is very friendly (which is why I gave 2 stars) and the dentist (Dr. Yen?) was nice as well. But the care they took was horrible. The Dr hacked at my teeth and gums with the pick. He didn't just scrape the plaque and gently go into the gums, he actually dug into my gums. Then the hygienist came to clean my teeth. She didn't floss me or have me gargle with mouth wash. All she did was polish my teeth quickly (making sure to save as much of the polish as possible) and have me rinse with water. When I rinsed with water I noticed copious amounts of gum tissue in my spit. Normally dentists scrape away the plaque, gently go into your gums, floss your teeth (while complaining you need to floss more), have you rinse with fluoride/mouth wash, then polish your teeth. Some offices even ask if you want to spring for the extra fluoride treatment. This office was like an automatic car wash, quick and sloppy. Definitely do not send your children here unless you want them to hate the dentist. read more

Dr. Yann is a great dentist, very knowledgable. I finally found a dentist who takes time to explain my options without scaring me into any expensive and unnecessary services. He was punctual and on-time with my appointment. Just overall, very considerate and passionate dentist. My father was recently told by a different dentist he needed about 5 crowns. I urged my father to go to Dr. Yann for a second opinion. In a very calm and professional manner, Dr. Yann explained to my dad the pros and cons of the procedure, not once bad mouthing the other dentist, nor pressuring my dad to get them done. The hygienist was very gentle and thorough. She seemed very skilled and experienced at what she did. All in all, a great honest, and very reasonably priced dentist who is clearly passionate and really cares for his patients in every sense of the word. read more

I always feel more educated about my oral health when I leave his office, and he helps me to understand how prevention is the best way to go. I'm sure this is a nice dental office, and Dr. Swanson was very nice, but don't advertise child dentistry, disseminate your office's pamphlets and business cards at a daycare, and then waste my time on an appointment just to refer me out to a real pediatric dentist. My toddler had his mouth looked at with a mirror for less than a minute and then I was ushered away. I spent far more time waiting for my son to be seen (nearly 30 minutes despite showing up 10 minutes early) than the actual "exam." I asked on my way out how my insurance would be billed for the 4 minutes my son sat in the dentist chair (most of which was also just waiting) and the mirror in his mouth and I was told it would be billed as a "consultation." I guess I'll find out exactly what 30 minutes in a waiting room and a mirror in your mouth costs when I get the bill. I really want to give just 1 star but the dentist was very pleasant, in spite of the complete and utter waste of my time and leave from work to attend this "consultation." It would have been far more appreciated to receive the notice up front that this office has zero capability of treating an almost 3-year-old without taking time off work and keeping my kid busy in a waiting room. Don't go to their Dumfries Branch. Front Desk was so lazy to help and answer their phones. Every time I called them It took me 100x before they answer it. Went their for my 6 months check up, and got told That i need filings. Did that in the same day after couple days. Got the tooth pain from the same tooth that he filled. Was in need of a new Dentist and when I went for the first time, the doctor picked very hard at my teeth - very bad experience - never had anyone pick that hard! Then she said I had 2 cavities and that I needed one of my prior silver fillings replaced because it was coming out. I had a really bad feeling about this, so I went and got a second opinion. They said I did NOT have any cavities and the filling was fine and did not need to replace at this time! This place is a scam! read more

Not the best experience. They told me I had three cavities on my first visit, my first cavities ever. I decided to get a second opinion and found out there were no cavities. They also never checked with my insurance before doing x-rays. I later recieved a bill because it hadn't been long enough since my last x-ray. Not sure how they incorrectly found three non existent cavities with x-rays and a full exam? Don't think I'll go back, if you do go just be careful! read more

He performed the procedure with sedulous care and took his time to carefully explain everything before commencing, which is something I have rarely experienced at other dentist offices. I have been going to Wellington Dental for a few years now and did not have any problems until recently. I am shocked at the service that I have been receiving. My appointment was set 6 months ago and when I get there for my appointment the office was closed. I had received a voice mail to see if I could move my time up since there was a cancellation and to call to confirm if I would be able to change the time. I did not call as I was unable to change the time. So I go to my appointment to find out the office is closed! I called and left a message to find out what happened with my appointment. I never got a return phone call so I decided to call them back when I spoke to the representative she stated it was a miscommunication on my part I advised her that it was not a miscommunication my appointment was set at a certain time and I was unable to change it to the time they wanted. I had a new appointment set up, so my appointment is today and to my surprise they called and left me a message saying that my appointment was canceled because the dentist are no longer going to be in today. I'm giving this rating because the way this office has been making changes without confirming with the clients is unacceptable! I will not be going back to this dentist! read more
