When I got the dress back, the sheer mesh that holds the leaf designs together was completely shredded and ripped. You can actually see the healthy mesh on one side of the dress, but on the other side, it's just gone or torn away. Now there are just frayed fibers sticking to the leaves like Velcro, which makes the dress unwearable. After countless washings and picking and biting, the satin binding began to come undone. He continued to pull at it and bite it until almost one side was off and the two sides of the blanket were coming apart. We needed an emergency seamstress! I've come here in the past for some quick tailoring, so I knew the quality of the work. Located in the Stater Bros and Rite Aid shopping plaza, it's easy to get to with ample parking. When my wife brought the blanket in, the seamstress was so understanding and empathetic knowing that my baby couldn't sleep without his blankey, so she assured us that it would be ready in 5 hours. 3 hours later. I happened to be in the neighborhood and I called if I could pick up the blanket early and it was DONE! Wow, the repair was flawless and early to boot and my 3 year old is happy and sleeping soundly... at least for the next hour. Then he's up until 11pm! Although in a pandemic with multiple variants present currently, the staff member while I was there did not wear a mask and the customers did not wear masks while going in. There also was no enforcement of masks nor signage anywhere visible that said they were taking precautions or following any guidelines of the CDC. Myself and one other customer, out of five people that came in, were wearing masks. I'm not sure if other employees on other days may possibly wear their masks and follow proper guidelines, but today was definitely not the case. Laundry service is good and always has been but I definitely didn't feel too safe and/or assured that the employees and the establishment as a whole was doing their part to stop the spread of this ugly virus.
