That's why you should schedule your routine eye exam four months in advance. If you don't have an ophthalmologist - I would recommend getting one if your insurance allows it. Because if you get something in your eye and it is an emergency then it is much better if you are already established with an office. Then you know right away who to call when you get chemicals and wood in your eye or something.

I have had a lot of experiences - good and bad - and I can honestly say that Eyezone is the best I have ever been to. From the moment you walk in the door to the beautiful lobby, you are greeted warmly. Before my appointment, they were very helpful with answering questions about certain exams that my insurance covered. The forms were easy to fill out (most of them you can do online beforehand) and before I knew it, the appointment had began. The pre-exam was an absolute breeze. I was ushered from room to room with speed, though I didn't feel like anything was being missed. I just got the sense that they understood that my time was valuable and wanted to make everything as efficient as possible. After that, I didn't wait in the exam room that long before my doctor was there. She was just amazing. Conversation with her was so easy, something I rarely experience with a medical professional. She did the standard tests and figured out my vision perfectly, and she was great about answering questions I had and even mentioning that pregnancy and breastfeeding can change my vision a bit, something that not even my medical doctor had told me! She was extremely knowledgeable and I found it easy to trust everything she said. When it was time to pick out my glasses, the gal that helped me was equally awesome. She was patient with my picky self, and chose a frame that I never would've picked up and it turned out to be the perfect fit for my facial structure. She was very up-front about what my insurance covered, and the options that I had with my high prescription. She had a smile on her face the entire time and made me feel so welcome. Overall, it is clear that everyone in this office works hard to create a comforting and warm environment. They are efficient and diligent, but slow down for questions and concerns where needed. stay away from all locations of this business!! i have already told so many people to stay away and…read morethe news is spreading!! this business took me for over 1144 dollars on one pair of glasses and not even having them for a year the paint chipped on the end of the ear piece and i had an allergic reaction behind my ear which was very, very painful. we are considering small claims court. this business does not stand behind their own products and luxottica told me i had to deal with the business. because i had an allergic reaction he would not replace with a different frame. according to the state vision board an optical place must replace the frame with different materials meaning a new frame not made with the same materials because eyeglasses are considered durable medical equipment, and medical equipment is not supposed to cause you harm in any way. so in fact i do believe he is going against state boards rules and regulations. i even verified this with another optical business, and i also verified this with my doctor also. save yourself alot of hard aches and please stay away from this place!

Yesterday I went to have a prescription filled from Veterans Hospital, with my work group…read moreinsurance, I get $250.00 for frames. As I was looking for frames I noticed a caucasian women getting fitted with her frame and I noticed the tech asked her if she was paying today and she said no. Yet the tech completed her paperwork and told her that her glasses will be ready in two weeks. a couple of African Americans like myself had the same tech and each of us was told we had to pay half before they could order our glasses. I came home a wrecked my body because it was on my mind how different her attitude changed with the black customers like we wasn't coming back. So this morning I called and got the tech and in a calm voice I brought it to her attentio. Her re was "So you trying to play the RACE card." I told her hell yea because it was obvious." This upset me so much I told her to cancel my order and that I will tell every black customer I see coming there how prejudice the tech is. And advice them to go else where. What makes it so bad my granddaughter told me she didn't have to pay half and she got her glasses in 2 weeks.
