We have been taking our dog, Jack, to this groomer for a couple of years. Our groomer is Marzy. We have been quite pleased with the service, the expertise and the friendliness toward us as well as our pet. The cost is competitive and the they take credit and debit cards as well as cash. However their prices have increased at the beginning of the year and they are now adding a surcharge of 3% for using credit cards. I personally do not like surcharges but that is for a different time. The parking is good. You have to make an appointment as opposed to walking in. Overall we will continue to use Sue's Small Stuff for our pet grooming. read more

Have been going to Sue's for years and have had several dogs over that time. We have always been more than satisfied with their work. I feel confident about them and know our dog is in good hands. I have been taking all my dogs here for years from my Great Danes to my chihuahuas. My long haired pappilon to my short hairs, heavy and light shedders. I love that they use the dremel tools on the nails and will scissor cut around the anus instead of razor which burns them. My dogs love going there. I have been taking my dogs to Sue since she began grooming in her home and sometimes it takes a long time until I get to pick them up, but I know it's because she is busy and she is very particular about doing them just right I can always tell if someone else has had to work on them, but I'm never disappointed. As with any business, you should always get to know the people who work there and ask questions. That said, I've been taking my Australian Shepherds to Sue's Small Stuff for over a year now. Sandi, my groomer, has done an excellent job in grooming my boys. I've never been disappointed with any of her work. My dogs always looked great and didn't smell like dog afterwards. Severely disappointed in this place. First time was great. Never going here again!! I asked same cut as first time, they cut all of the hair on the top of my girls head that I was growing out for a ponytail. They cut her tail and ears too short and all I wanted was a brush out. They keep cards on dogs to say what they did in the past but don't use them. Beyond pissed, 6 months of growth gone, and sorry doesn't put the hair back on her head, she looks awful. read more

I will not be back. We had come to this establishment before, so we were a repeat customer. We had an 11:00 appointment with Theresa. At 1:45 I called to see if my dog was done. She responded that he wasn't ready and that she still had one dog before him to do. We went to immediately pick him up since we felt this was ridiculous that she hadn't even started the grooming almost three hours after our appointment! When my husband got there he was charged $32 for a shampoo--just a shampoo for this amount! No apology was given, but she did state that we could bring him back another day to get his grooming finished. Never before have we been met with such poor customer service and disregard! If I could give zero stars I would! Sue, if you're the owner, you need to find better people! You've lost what could have been a long-term customer. read more

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Long story short, I took my pom there for her first grooming which didnt go well. The 1 thing I asked was for her tail NOT to be trimmed. And she came back with a nub. I did call and leave a review. Months later, (today) I thought maybe Id give this place another shot. I called to ask about just a bath, and nail trim. I asked if they had time today as well as the price. The lady then looked up my file and replied.... "I thought you didnt like it here..." COMPLETELY BLOWED MY MIND at how unprofessional that was!! If it went well I was willing to remove my last review on facebook as well as possibly be a regular customer. But apparently they did not want my money so ill take my dog someplace else...so if youre looking for a groomer that doesnt listen to what you want, and to be rude this might be the place for you. Dog owners beware! Especially if you have the type of dog that matts easily (Doodles, Wheatons, etc). They will not take the time to do it properly...they just shave the fur completely down to the skin to the point of bad "irritation" and in the case of my sisters dog, cuts from rough shaving, and charge extra for it! On top of that, the lack of professionalism, and nothing but excuses, makes the experience even worse. Good professional groomers are apparently rare these days for some reason. The owner was no better and showed no concern or accountability for her employee. read more

I have a small Bichon Frise, and he HATES being brushed/having his paws touched/nails trimmed, etc. I try my best at home to keep him somewhat brushed, but honestly he's a terrible pain. He howls and yelps and screams bloody murder, so I'm sure he's horrible to groom. I tried taking him to other groomers and one refused to do him because he made so much noise. I tried a mobile groomer once and it was just the worst haircut I've ever seen. I was nervous the first time taking him to Sue's but when I picked him up he looked amazing they didn't complain about how awful I'm sure he was. Theresa is the one who usually does my little guy, and she must have the patience of a saint. She absolutely loves him and she always does a great job with him. Bichons are not a simple cut and she always does a wonderful job of shaping the head perfectly. I think the prices are very reasonable, and they've never charged me extra for him being matted, though I don't think he's ever been extremely matted. They DO accept credit/debit cards now! The ONLY thing I dislike is how long it takes. It generally takes at least 4 hours from when I drop him off to when he is finished. But every time I pick him up he seems very happy and not at all stressed which really impresses me because he's a very anxious dog generally. read more

Outstanding grooming facility. Sue really cares for the pets she's entrusted with. We've taken 2 pets, our Grand dog and our own for over 8 years. Sue always gives them the exact cut we asked for. Timely appointments with easy in and out. I wouldn't consider anywhere else. read more

I will not be back. I have my engagement pictures coming up with him in them and specifically told them that I did not want his face to look messed up because his previous cut from another groomer did not blend his face fur and I specifically let it grow out so that the next groomer could shape it evenly. The first picture is the one I showed her how I would like it cut. She said she could not see it very well. I told her I did not want very much taken off-only shaped up to look even. The second picture is after his cut. Took wayyyyy too much fur off of his face. I like the long haired Pom look....Thought I made that clear but apparently not. The picture with him on the child's lap is how he looked when I brought him in. The third picture is the 5 inch cut on his belly and the 3 dots where it was bleeding. I understand that accidents happen and that is why they have us sign the waiver letting us know this is a potential possibility, however, let me know you cut my dog when I pick him up. After reading the previous reviews, looks like nicks and cuts are included in their service on a regular basis. read more

Sue's Small Stuff was recommended to me 11-1/2 years ago. I had never gone to a groomer before as I had a dog that was easy to take care of at home. I, quite anxiously, took my tiny Bischon puppy for our first experience. Sue immediately put me at ease. She took notes on exactly what I wanted. So as I write this review today my 11-1/2 year old puppy is there having his "hair done". I know that when I pick him up he will be happy and beautiful. I will receive a report on how it went and I will be happy as well. We have never been to another groomer. The staff is wonderful and caring. read more

Decent groomers and offer typical services you'd find anywhere. Wish they'd accept debit/credit transactions. Average pricing. $34 for small dogs. They charge $3 extra if matting is found...even if shaving the dog. I used them 2 years ago prior to relocation and gave them a call for my dogs (3) Spring grooming. Two out of three wasn't bad, I guess. One of my dogs cut was VERY choppy across his back showing obvious clipper marks that weren't found on the other two. I will give them a call and see how they will offer to correct this. Otherwise, dogs seems happy when I picked them up and ready for their car ride. read more

I'm so happy with my experience (and my dog's) at this groomer! The staff was really friendly so I wasn't worried about leaving my dog at all, and on top of that he's never had a better haircut in his life! I have a small Peekapoo and it's hard to find a groomer that will take the time to make sure his haircut fits his body. Sue's small stuff took almost five hours to groom him and you can really see the care and detail they put into the groom! I highly recommend this groomer! read more
