I'll be honest - I made more than 1 u-turn getting to the new spot, which is only directly accessible going northbound on Independence. If you're traveling south, you have to make u-turn. And if you miss it going north, you may have to make several. Now that I know where it is, I won't miss it again! Look for the red State Farm sign at the entrance to the professional center before turning in. I do really like this new spot which is solely for EA Esthetics. The entrance is lovely and welcoming, with beautifully-displayed retail merchandise to browse while you wait for your esthetician. It seems like an overwhelming selection of serums, lotions, washes, etc. but you will get an expert-recommendation after a consult with Emily or the other staff. On this visit, I was taken back for my treatment right at my appointment time. Amanda was kind enough to make sure I was comfortable before beginning - I was in for a long haul (2+ hours!). About halfway through treatment, I got chilly and she had a cozy blanket ready for me. She explained each step of the process so I knew what to expect and I was so happy with the results. I was a little scared at how dark my brows were initially, but as promised, they lightened to a perfect tint within a couple of days. Their website is so easy to use for booking and gives a detailed description of service and prices. For both my brows and lashes, it cost over $200, but this definitely seems to be competitive with other VB spas. I was incredibly happy with my results and will return for touch-ups, as recommended, in a few weeks. I have had a great experience each time I have been in and highly recommend Emily and Amanda for any skincare need!

So I arrived for my appointment today at 5 pm, I was taken right away by Mary. My hair was washed, conditioned, blow dried and finally braided in preparation for crochet braids. Now this is my first time having any kind of hair on my head that wasn't my own. So I dont know what to expect, so I am trusting the stylist. That was my first mistake. The style I asked for called for curly hair and she pulled out straight hair. So I asked and she assured me she would curl it to get the same look. My second mistake not leaving at that point. So I was quoted 3 hours, now it's 2am and she is "finished". Mind you, I have two bags of rods in my hair and no one wants me to have to spend 45 minutes under the dryer, so I am told to go home and complete the style myself. What. ....I have to get up at 6am. Let me remind you it's 2am and I am not even home yet. Needless to say it's now 3 am and I can't lay down because there are a million rods in my hair. So pissed off. I can't believe I paid for this, so I am asking the stylist questions. When did you last do crochet braids? A few months ago. Huh? I seriously think it was her first time. What a complete mess, I think she is still in hair school. So now I am questioning if she is a licensed stylist. I am beyond disappointed, this was my first and last time. I will update tomorrow with pictures and information after I reach out to management. Because words cannot express how I feel. Okay so it is 0845 and it took me 30 minutes to get all the rods out and the hair is still straight. WTH? I left a message for when they open. What a disaster. So here we are at 1230, my hair has been returned to it's normal status. Maureen was noticeably upset and apologize for what I endured. I was provided a full refund and the crochet braids were removed, my hair was washed and styled by Monika. Thank you Monika for coming in on your off day to rescue my tresses. I highly recommend the spa services, but I will pass on salon services.

First time with this company…read more Scheduling was easy and accommodating. I called on a bad weather day Saturday and they were open! Arrival. Facility was neat and clean and was greeted immediately and all staff was friendly! Consultation. Nat provided my service. It was a bit rough to get what I wanted at first. The young lady who greeted me and initiated the appointment told me my request for "Cutie" will NOT look good which I found odd as this is my go to at other salons. I took to that red flag and asked for her recommendation because obviously she was limited to what she can make 'look good'. When I begin to ask important questions to narrow down what would be applied, she keep telling me 'no'. Anther employee came from the back and addressed my concerns which all turned out to be a "yes." Application (80pc, Natural, premium silk). I did ask the Tech how long she had been doing this and Nat said 5 months. I suppose the reason for the inconsistency resulted. Left eye dose not have nearly as many lashes than the right. Right eye is inconsistently full with exception of the inner corner we're there are noticeably only a few. I will go back once more and try a new tech to see if I can get better results. They don't look crazy at least! However, I know I can get better work done.
