I've seen Emily a few times over the past couple of years and, most recently, came for a brow lamination and lash lift & tint with Amanda. This was my first visit in their new location. I'll be honest - I made more than 1 u-turn getting to the new spot, which is only directly accessible going northbound on Independence. If you're traveling south, you have to make u-turn. And if you miss it going north, you may have to make several. Now that I know where it is, I won't miss it again! Look for the red State Farm sign at the entrance to the professional center before turning in. I do really like this new spot which is solely for EA Esthetics. The entrance is lovely and welcoming, with beautifully-displayed retail merchandise to browse while you wait for your esthetician. It seems like an overwhelming selection of serums, lotions, washes, etc. but you will get an expert-recommendation after a consult with Emily or the other staff. On this visit, I was taken back for my treatment right at my appointment time. Amanda was kind enough to make sure I was comfortable before beginning - I was in for a long haul (2+ hours!). About halfway through treatment, I got chilly and she had a cozy blanket ready for me. She explained each step of the process so I knew what to expect and I was so happy with the results. I was a little scared at how dark my brows were initially, but as promised, they lightened to a perfect tint within a couple of days. Their website is so easy to use for booking and gives a detailed description of service and prices. For both my brows and lashes, it cost over $200, but this definitely seems to be competitive with other VB spas. I was incredibly happy with my results and will return for touch-ups, as recommended, in a few weeks. I've been seeing Amanda for a long time. I'm currently on a four-week schedule, so I see her regularly once each month. She is a true artist when it comes to making over brows, and always has great skin care advice as well! She will likely ask you to grow out your brows -- TRUST HER. It is so worth it to give her a fresh canvas to work from and shape your brows the way you want them. She's thorough with asking initial questions and with the actual waxing (or threading) process so there's not a hair out of place when you leave. She's also down to earth and easy to talk to, so you'll never feel awkward. Emily Anne Esthetics makes it easy to make an appointment online. The office is always peaceful, calm and clean. The providers wear masks so you can feel safe about that if it's a concern. You can't add a tip to a card, so be sure to bring cash or be willing to use Venmo. I found this business on Instagram as I saw a hairstylist I followed posting stories. I had a consult with Amia in November as I have ver sensitive skin to the point where I've been to the ER for just trying different products and my eyes swelling. I am sensitive to products with any kind of fragrance so I wasn't even sure if I could get a facial. After talking with Amia and going over my routine and what normally works for my skin I felt confident that she was going to take great care of my skin. I did the prep work beforehand and started using a daytime control lotion and sunscreen on my face. Today I had my first Hydrafacial and I wasn't sure what to expect. I love that Amia is down to earth and real. She let me know this wasn't going to be a relaxing facial. Honestly it was a relaxing facial and I was preparing for the worst (a reaction or something of the sort) but Amia did her research for my skin and the proper products to use! I loved every second and the only part that was a bit uncomfortable was the manual extractions on my nose. My skin is already glowing and you better believe I'll be back. This was my 2nd time coming here for a facial in 2 years. Last year I went, it was located in Chesapeake near Greenbrier Mall. It has since moved to Virginia Beach off of S. Independence Pkwy. The turn is very tricky, if you're not looking out you'll get stuck on the exit. I want to love Emily Anne Esthetics. She uses a very well known and reputable line of skin care products in her treatments. I feel the quality of the treatments you get are high. I just feel the the warmth and excitement could be upped a couple notches. I also feel more descriptions of what is being done would be nice. read more

This place has the best ambiance. Between the retro chairs, calming music, shirts and stickers, the branding is on point! Even though they are right off the main road you cannot hear the cars at all. The whole experience was great! I had a 45 min dermaplaning appointment, she was right on time. The table was nice and warm.
