Then he rings up two 1/2 dozens to upcharge more. We ordered a dozen and even a small box charge would have been more appropriate. It's not worth any battle to deal with lack of common sense ... this is today's youth and lack of any management and supervision. They hand-roll and fry all of their donuts in-house, and you can absolutely tell. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and made with care. I asked for recommendations and ended up getting the maple bacon and the s'mores donuts. I also had the chance to try their glazed donut and wow... that ended up being my favorite out of everything. I would honestly come back just for the glazed. It had the perfect amount of glaze -- sweet but not overpowering -- and the donut itself was thick, soft, and fluffy. The ratio was perfect. These donuts have substance. They're not the type that melt away instantly, but they're still super soft and fresh. They're exactly the kind of donuts you can actually chew and enjoy. The maple bacon was perfectly balanced with crispy bacon and just the right amount of maple, and the s'mores donut was huge, rich, and such a fun treat. I would choose these donuts over Dunkin or grocery store donuts any day. First, let me say that the owner/barista was very pleasant and the decor homey. She gets a plus for offering almond milk. She also offers some baked goods which we did not try as our visit was strictly for the coffee. However, the coffee for me was lacking (sorry! ). I love good coffee and espresso especially since I am a latte drinker, but the latte I ordered was made on a Keurig and unfortunately did not have the full flavor of my beloved espresso I was expecting. I won't go into too much detail about my husband's mocha latte except that it was barely warm, probably a byproduct of the steamer heating up the almond milk for my drink. This is something she will need to address for sure, especially if she gets a big crowd. Our visit was shortly after she opened, so I'm hoping that she has worked out some kinks since then.
