Oh my gosh. Incredible pastries. We started going there a few months ago instead of going out for bacon and eggs. Just something different. I have probably sampled half the bakery case, but today I had a paste made with cheese, tomotoes, and peppers in a puff pastry. I savored every mouthful. There are maybe 4 or 5 small tables in the shop. They warm the pastery before they serve it and there are also several different cofffee and teas you can order. The proprietors make you feel like old friends. I hate to recommend because then I'd have to wait in line! Truly yummy! read more

I ordered the Key Lime Pie because it had great reviews. Publix does too, but Publix Key lime is loaded with chemicals and has fake whipped cream. This Key lime was about triple the price and it had either fake or awful whipped cream. The crust was great and traditional. The filling was a smooth sugar bomb with no citrus taste. Certainly no key lime taste. Very disappointing. In the end a really bad example of a key lime pie. The remainder of the items in the bakery looked great but I have not tried. read more

We are visiting from out of town and my friend's mom brought us lunch, as well as pastries from here. It was all amazing! We will be getting this again when we visit. The croissant was buttery and flakey. The almond pastries - oh my gosh! So delicious. We were supposed to be in Paris for her 40th this week and obviously could not make the trip. We bought a lot of pasties. Coconut cake is just like I remembered it as a child when my grandma made it. Fresh, moist and full of flavor. Cookies... $11.99 a pound and I got a variety. Each one just as delicious as the first. I could eat a kind without a problem. We also got eclairs with authentic French cream, which I was given a sample of before I even bought them. Just amazing!! I know the traditional is with dark chocolate, but I used to have them with a creamy milk chocolate frosting as a child... I long for those days, but these were delicious. I am furious that I spent my gas, time and money on their UNAUTHENTIC supposedly "french pastries" that are INEDIBLE. I asked if each item was made with real butter and NOT oil and each time the french guy working there, who I assume is the owner, said "sweetheart, yes", which should have clued me in that he is disingenuous. He should be honest and just tell the truth, but nooooo, HE LIES! Based on his lies, I picked out an assortment of cookies, a piece of coconut cake, a cherry turnover, a mini eclair, a small box of palmiers and a croissant. The cookies are so dry, tasteless and clearly made with oil making them so bad that I would rather throw them out than eat them. The turnover is also clearly made with oil with not much cherry filling inside. I ate the few cherries out of the minuscule amount of filling and again the pastry part is so nasty, it is inedible. The palmiers are also clearly made with oil and just so bad, I will not eat them either; strike 3! The coconut cake was also made with oil and so bad that I won't eat it; strike 4! The eclair was a little stale and the pastry cream filling wasn't bad, but just ok; not good enough to ever want again. The croissant was the only item that is actually made with at least part butter, I'm guessing. But the texture isn't good...no flakiness or good flavor. I could get a better croissant at Lucky's or Whole Foods Market. Pathetic and disgusting! I want my money back! Was it worth you scamming me for $20 to earn this bad review? If the owner was smart and had higher standards, he would use real butter and everything would taste so great that he would have lines of customers like Croissant Time in Fort Lauderdale. Instead he has mediocre to bad products going stale and had only 2 french guys in there chatting with him. It's called cutting off your nose to spite your face. If this restaurant was in France no one would buy his inferior pastries that would not be acceptable by their standards and expectations. He is depending on Americans that do not know what authentic french pastries should taste like and are used to grocery store bakery items that I would never buy. read more

I went here after school just do see what he had, I got some macarons, croissant, a few turnovers and more. The croissant was amazing, was so buttery and flakey, it was like eating a cloud. The macarons weren't hollow or chewy they were perfect. The turnover was the best one had in a longtime, he has a great variety and the coffee is excellent, the owner was friendly and told great stories. Why aren't there more reviews for this place?!? This French bakery is perfect! We enjoyed everything from the variety of pastries to the hospitality from the owner/baker. It's counter service, but there were a few open tables to sit and have a quick bite. I shared a few items and got to try the veggie and fruit tarts, which were both so delicious! Everything was made fresh and in house. It was awesome to see how much pride the baker had with the quality of his baked goods. My husband is European and will not eat most American pastries and he was so happy to get a proper made European pastry.
