I travel a lot and had to cancel my appointment like 2 or 3 times. Then when I got back in town I call to make an appointment, and They had an opening the next day that they gave to me. They have all of the latest equipment. When they see anything that you need they bring it to your attention and make sure that you understand what the issue is and how it can be or should be treated. I had an appointment with them today for a cleaning, which, unbeknownst to me until I had to pay my co-pay, turned out to be a periodontal cleaning. The co-pay was higher than usual, and, of course, I questioned it since I have exceptional insurance. The person I spoke to TRIED to be patient while explaining to me the difference between a periodontal and a regular surface cleaning. Not sure why they're taken aback when patients question their services and prices. This is a service business the last time I checked. My next scheduled appointment is in July, and I moved my children's appointment onto the same day, which will make it easier for me to cancel our appointments if I choose to. It's a new year, so my dental insurance just reset. Prior, my and my children's dental group of 5 years were the excellent until we had to move. Within throwing distance we have Sapphire, Grand Mission, Studio Dental, etc. who have high ratings, not only on Google, but also on Yelp. I have options.

She got my MIL in a plan to get her teeth fixed so she could eat comfortably by this Thanksgiving. So thoughtful. Dr John Varghese is not only highly intelligent, but he clearly shows he cares about his patients. He patiently went through each step of the plan to get my MIL's teeth back to normal so she could enjoy life in her late 80's. I liked them so much I too switched to them and got my first X-rays and cleaning. I have issues with grinding my teeth and it's getting to the point where I needed to assess what I need to do to protect my teeth so that I can still use them as I get older. They drew a plan out with what options might be best to tackle my case and I appreciate knowing all the pros and cons of my decision and being informed of the process. My husband has had the same experience with her as well. She needs to be properly trained.

When I arrived, I asked the front desk to verify my insurance and schedule an appointment for Thursday 1/22/26. The front desk staff refused to verify my insurance and said they would "do it on Thursday." At the time, there were no other patients in the office, and part of the office lights were turned off, so they were clearly not busy. I still left a copy of my information and insurance card and was told it would be handled later. Today, Wednesday 1/21/26, the front desk called me and told me I needed to contact my insurance myself. Since verifying insurance is a basic part of scheduling, I canceled the appointment. I'm not looking for an apology -- I'm writing this so future patients know what to expect. This was the least helpful front desk experience I've ever had at a dental office.
