If you are looking for a weekend getaway, summer vacation, honeymoon, or just looking for a great place to stay with a beautiful view and great service this is it! Best place to stay in eureka. (p.s. Cabin 6 is great)

Nice little place to stay in the woods. We stayed in the suite and our view was amazing. A little outdated on the decor but that's ok. The suite comes with pretty much everything you need. The kitchen has all necessities including a coffee maker, microwave, fridge, portable stove, pots and pans, utensils, some spices for cooking, towels, hair dryer, TV, DVD player, charcoal, lighter fluid, matches, etc. There is a trail nearby which my dog loved. There aren't any places to eat unless you drive about 30 minutes into town. But finding a good place to eat was challenging; not very many and the place we went to wasn't good. There is a grocery store called Harts that we went to and bought groceries at so we could just cook it ourselves. There is a jacuzzi in the room, which is a plus. There is a cave nearby called Cosmic Cavern if you're looking for something to do. We stayed here from Friday through Sunday and it was about $200/night.

OMG! The cabins at the Sugar Ridge Resort were absolutely a dream to stay in. Normally they run around $425 a night... we got on hotwire (a website of that nature) and got the room for $360 tax and all fees included. When you have 7 people staying the cabin that is not a lot to pay at all. I posted several pictures of our cabin and the view. Their is 3 California king size beds and 2 queens in the upper loft. Two full bathrooms and two complete entertainment rooms downstairs and upstairs. Two decks and a BBQ grill. One kitchen complete with dishwasher, refridgerator, coffee maker, and cooking untensils. Fire wood is on the porch that you are welcome to use in the fire place.! On my specific stay my friends and I, there were 7 of us, BBQed that night and watched TV. One of the couples used the hot tub that was in the master bedroom by the window over looking the view of Beaver lake outside. It doesnt get better than that! As for the location it is outside of Eureka Springs about 10 miles but is well worth it. Far enough to get you away from the town but close enough for driving distance. This is the IDEAL place for people who travel in groups and want a night out. Because the cabin is so big (three stories) there is also a sense of privacy. Absolutely perfect.!

Last night, there was a party with a live band (particularly terrible drummer BTW) right under our room until after midnight. It was so loud in our room that we couldn't watch a movie, talk to each other, or sleep. We could only put in earplugs and wait for it to be over. I could still hear all the lyrics through the earplugs, that's how loud it was. We are leaving a day early, even though we have already paid for tonight's room, because last night was so miserable. The hotel has effectively made this first floor room unusable on nights when the club right under it is open (W-Sa), and we were certainly not informed when we booked at their full price rate that this VERY LOUD party would be happening basically IN OUR ROOM UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT. Just ridiculous. I would not book the New Orleans Hotel first-floor suite again and would not recommend it to anyone else. As far as what the hotel should do to improve this problem: do not rent this suite out on nights when you are having loud parties right under it, and refund my money for this unusable hotel room.

I got the works; the steam cabinet, a mineral bath, and a massage. I was so relaxed by the end of it I could barely walk or think straight. I even fell asleep during the massage! Only downside for a more modern customer is that the spa layout is completely original. There are no sound barrier walls or anything. The walls and doors aren't floor to ceiling, so one can hear toilets flushing, tubs draining, etc. But it's great for feeling transported back to the old holistic, homeopathic ways.

Beware of Tyler, the tyrant psychotic sociopath owner of The Palace Bath House!…read more I visited the Palace Hotel and Bath House expecting peace and relaxation. Instead, I walked out shaking, humiliated, and in tears -- an experience I will never forget for all the wrong reasons. The mineral bath area consists of small cubicles with no ceilings, something I was never told. I didn't hear or see anyone else, so I genuinely believed I was alone. While in the bath I was trying to meditate but then someone started playing very distracting music that interrupted my meditation and I asked politely for the music to be turned off when someone changed it to something distracting. I made normal, reasonable requests -- a towel, a time extension -- nothing out of the ordinary for a spa. When I went upstairs afterward, everything changed instantly. The owner, Tyler (appeared to be in her 40s -50s had shoulder length completely gray hair) approached me out of nowhere and told me she was "astonished by my behavior" and that I was "the rudest person" she had ever had as a customer. I was stunned. I had no idea what she was talking about. She accused me of "yelling" and "ruining the experience" for others -- even though I had spoken calmly and had no idea the entire facility shared open acoustics. I immediately apologized, over and over, because I felt horrible. I was crying, shaking, and trying to explain that I truly believed I was alone. Instead of listening, she doubled down. She told me I was "blacklisted" and needed to leave. Meanwhile, other patrons -- the very people she claimed I had disturbed -- came to comfort me. They told me I had done nothing wrong. They hugged me. They reassured me. They told me her reaction was completely out of proportion. I ended up having a panic attack from the shock and humiliation. My entire day was ruined. Days later, I am still shaken. When I tried to call to request a refund, I discovered my number had been blocked. No conversation. No explanation. No willingness to resolve anything. I have never in my life been treated the way I was treated at this business. I left feeling berated, belittled, and publicly humiliated for something I didn't even know I had done wrong. The lack of sound privacy, the aggressive confrontation, the refusal to communicate afterward -- all of it paints a very clear picture. Bottom-line, BEWARE of The Palace Hotel and Bath House and the tyrant psychotic sociopath who runs this establishment, TYLER! My experience was emotionally devastating, and no guest or human in general deserves to be treated this way. Consider yourself warned.

We stayed at the historic Basin Park Hotel and loved the experience. Check-in was easy, parking is free, and it's a short walk from the lot (or you can call the shuttle). The hotel is full of charm and history--we especially enjoyed the quaint vintage elevator, though the stairs were fine too. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the shuttle even took us to the restaurant where we had dinner. The best part of staying here is the location--you can walk right out the door for morning coffee, spend the day shopping and exploring the streets and paths, and enjoy music at nearby restaurants in the evening. Don't miss the 4th-floor balcony. The view of downtown is great, and it's a beautiful spot to take in the night sky.

Spinach dip served in bread bowl was delicious. The other items were just average. Disappointing to see when we got the check that they charge you extra to pay their staff instead of the owners paying them. We had an 18% $9.90 "service pool" fee that doesn't go to the server so you're basically having to tip double. Won't be back. This was the only restaurant we visited during this trip that did this.
