Weekend barista is the absolute worst. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt to customer service positions but this lady is miserable and she takes it out on her customers. I hate that it's the closest coffee shack to my block. Will not be going back after being treated this way. Not to mention I used to come here quite often and was never ever told about the app to eventually get a free drink. I really wish this place had different staff members because the staff that run this joint are not it. read more

Literally just left Sugar Shack. We used to live in Bremerton back in '19 and would always come here. It was my Hub's fav local spot for a sweet drink. We moved back here just last week and now had time to stop by. He was excited and we pulled up to be greeted by a lady. She asked what he wanted, he said a White Mocha Frappe, she then said "Jesus" in a rude tone as if she hated making that drink... anyways, we did not tolerate that remark and just drove off. This was a first we have ever encountered a barista as such. It just sucks that he ended up not fulfilling his craving and got all excited for basically rude customer service. Love the service and the drinks at Sugar Shack. They use the Clover app for collecting points towards free drinks. So much easier than keeping track of a punch card! . Double Stamp day EVERY TUESDAY and TRIPLE stamp day on every other Wednesday. They have tasty treats, too. read more

I've been here a handful of times. Each time I've been I've gotten really good hot chocolate - until today. Previously it's always been a woman whose made it. Today it was a guy. He was nice enough and my boyfriends chai was apparently good, but the hot chocolate tasted way watered down. Could barely taste any chocolate, just some murky water or whatever it is he actually made it with. So, we probably won't be back. The quality of the coffee is ok. They charge $.50 if you use your card and below a certain amount. Its not very friendly compared to other places nearby. The only plus is that it is convenient. I've been going there and they never offered me a stamp card so fyi... ask for a stamp card. read more

Rick, the owner of Sugar Shack really gets people... and of course coffee! On my first visit we became instant "drive-thru" friends. He not only makes the best coffee ever, but he is sincere in conversation and funny. Even on my worst days, Rick and his coffee can make me smile. I live in Poulsbo, but every Monday and Wednesday on my way to take my little one to his class I swing in, say hello and get a cup. I love this place. I've only been here twice but the baristas that work here have always been extremely friendly. And I think their coffee is just great. I have tried many a coffee shop in Bremerton and none have been quite as awesome as Sugar Shack (and lucky for me, it's right on my way to work!). They make a mean triple grande americano and are always friendly and nice. The prices are very reasonable and some Wednesdays are TRIPLE stamp day! So good. I love them. That is all. read more

This place is such a gem! The owner, Rick, is hilarious and cares deeply about the community. All the baristas are fantastic! Amanda and Jess are my favorites, but they are all so sweet and friendly.
