I had the Cuban press this time in the Demi (soup and salad + 1/2 sandwich) highly recommend My fiancé had the caprese Demi with a ceaser salad and mushroom soup. It was really good, and an accidental vegetarian option that is genuinely good. The tea was also pretty good, they have a healthy dose of options I didn't take a picture of our dessert but we had the lemon bar, too sweet for our taste but we still finished it. The COOKIES!! Enjoyed a nice breakfast at Sugarbakers on a Saturday morning! The menu is quite large so lots of options for lunch or breakfast, whatever you're feeling. I personally really enjoyed their potatoes o'Brien which is their take on a potato hash. The staff were friendly and helpful with the questions we had about the menu. This café is absolutely delightful! The presentation is charming, and every bite feels like it was crafted in the clouds. The textures--from the pasta salad to the peanut butter chocolate chip muffin--were amazing. I also appreciate that they offer vegetarian options even though I'm pescatarian - some times I do want cheese and veggies! I love their "life's short, eat the cookies" sign. I AGREE. Great amount of food, had the three trio special. More food then you can imagine and all three salads were delicious. Friend enjoyed the tuna salad. Dressing was perfect and veggies were fresh. Grabbed a cookie on the way out and it was also the perfect treat. Server was helpful with specials and explained menu and her favorites, received food timely considering we went at noon and the place was packed. Portion sizes are not overly large but more than enough- very filling. Unfortunately their espresso machine wasn't working while we were there, but other than that good service and food. Cute little spot to grab breakfast, and the pastries are definitely something you shouldn't pass up! The sweet tea was perfectly sweet, and I got the unsweet raspberry iced tea and it was refreshing. I personally didn't use any sweetener. My husband got the Sunrise Sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed. A simple yet yummy breakfast sandwich! I got the Lox & Bagel plate and everything was so good! The capers and cream cheese pair well with the smoked salmon and fresh vegetables. The hash browns were crispy and a classic breakfast side. The bat sugar cookie was so cute, the cannoli was amazing! Terrible! I order the Citrus Chicken. Picture shows two pieces of chicken I received one. the rice pilaf is so salty, the broccoli was yellow only a couple and the carrots old and few. they forgot to give the two desserts I ordered to Door dash. Doordash will only refund me 8.60 for some reason. Never again Sugarbakers. I called and the girl told me I could come and pick up the desserts. It was their fault I didnt get it delivered. Currently my favorite breakfast restaurant. They have delicious options even for those with food allergies. It can get busy, and if you come at peak time just be prepared to wait during those occasions. Omelettes are priced very fairly and give you as many options as you'd like including lobster and brie or asparagus. My only con is that they don't have any gluten free deserts but they don have delicious desserts if you feel like it's your cheat day this is one of two places that it'd be SOOOOO worth it. Had their french toast with peaches and cognac sauce and it was amazing. ... I don't go off diet often but when I do, might as well enjoy it and with Sugarbakers I can do both, eat healthy and delicious or pick my day to gluten it up. My daughter is a professional baker and they have to show up before their place of business opens to make sure the cases are full at the beginning of the day. Really disappointing. I had heard great things about the cafe'. We went for lunch around 11:30, and sat down immediately. We ordered 2 of the catch of the day lunch specials, salmon with 2 sides. 30 minutes later, we saw everyone around us get their orders. 3 couples that came after us had eaten and left and we still did not have our food. Over 1 hour later we finally were served our lunch. I wish I would have take a photo. The salmon was raw, but cold, and the sides were cold. Both meals were horrible. We sent them back and left. Such a great place! The staff is nice and the food is amazing. Such a great alternative to getting food from a chain restaurant and is in a great location. The ham and cheese although sounds plain is amazing! It was ham, cheese, tomato, and a special sauce in between two slices of toasted panini bread.
