I would try to book the person I had last time for some kind of consistency -- and, even though I would specifically choose appointments based on the waxing specialist listed at the time, whenever I arrived, I was just told someone else would be doing my waxing. The last time I went it was a brand new person--in fact, she said it was her first week--and the experience was incredibly painful. It made me question what kind of training she had been given. Additionally, she did a different service than what I requested! At the end, she explained she had been "distracted" and gave me what the previous customer asked for. I recently went somewhere else, and the experience was entirely different and not hardly painful at all (and yet an equivalent cost). This location would benefit from better management and training.

She listens to what you want and makes sure the results are what you expected. And let me tell you. There is never, ever going to be anything comfortable to me about spreading your legs into butterfly formation to a stranger, but somehow Marion makes that process *as painless as possible* and as non-awkward as possible. She apparently had time, so she tacked those couple minutes on to the end and I got as many minutes as I actually paid for - that's always super appreciated! It would be nice if the room was a little more soundproofed or located further back in the building away from the road; I could hear lunch hour traffic rushing by on the street about 20 yd away. But other than that, this was a great massage, and I've had plenty over the decades. A lot of therapists these days slop through the motions, but Karen really has a pinpoint, accurate understanding of the human body and I give her full props for 90 minutes of targeted, firm pressure body work. Me having slightly arthritic hands, I greatly appreciate her stamina! I left the appointment, amazed with an amount of flexibility in my neck and shoulders I haven't felt in probably 10 years. My 82 yo mom loves it here, too. There's a plethora of skilled service providers and lots of face, body, general wellness treatments to choose from.

First of all, it's kind of a weird layout, I entered from the parking lot (not the street side). It wasn't real clear where to check in and oddly there was no one around to greet me. After about 10 minutes, someone appeared and came over to get me set up with a tech. Seemed like gel x was mostly what they did so had that done. While the tech was working on my nails, a client walked in to show her that her nail popped off after just one day (should've been my first clue) and she needed it redone. Fast forward, one of mine popped off 3 days later, I went back to have it redone like the previous client, and then the gel completely chipped off on 2 other nails a couple days after that! Really? I'm retired and honestly don't abuse my hands/nails. Just daily routine stuff. The staff there did not seem experienced; it was almost like they were students who were still figuring out how to apply gel x nails. So, didn't waste my time going back a third time. I've since found an amazing salon with an experienced, on-site owner and highly trained, knowledgeable technicians who create the most beautiful nails -- from gels to acrylics -- that continue to look amazing for weeks.
