A new core memory has been created! After grabbing a bite off the coast, I craved dessert. After a quick google search my heart was set on Sugarland. Filled our bellies. For visiting on Memorial Day there was no line, the staff was great and very fast service. They also have a wall full of self serve candies and packaged candy. Perfect for every and all sweet tooths. There are tables inside, as well as benches outside. I absolutely LOVED the idea of the frozen banana! I was about to embark on a 7 hour roadtrip and I didn't want to make any bathroom breaks. I convinced my boyfriend to get a scoop of peanut butter pie so I can have a couple bites and it was DELICIOUS! Plus they were not skimping out on the portion sizes! I would definitely recommend and if I'm ever vacationing in the area again - you already know where you will find me! read more

We were immediately greeted when we walked in. We sampled a few ice creams and they were all delicious! The graham cracker, peanut butter and salted caramel were delightful. Popcorn was being made fresh as we were standing there. They have many popcorn flavors, a candy bar, ice cream and specialty sundaes and frozen bananas! We were like kids in the candy store. My wife and I walked from McGuires to sugar land for dessert. They had a lot to choose from. The ice cream was excellent. We went back a couple days later for chocolate covered bananas they were also excellent. You get topping on your banana. Service was quick. Highly recommend this establishment read more

We just discovered Sugar Land in Destin and it instantly became our favorite ice cream shop!! We had been to another place the night before with great ratings but the portions were much smaller and the waffle bowls seemed almost stale. I was visiting FL and came upon this ice cream/candy/coffee shop. It is amazing and there's a large variety of ice cream, candy and popcorn to choose from. I had espresso poured over my ice cream. The customer service was a perfect 10! I asked can I get ice cream in my coffee and was told I could "get anything I want". The owner was friendly and outgoing. Semi-cute yet clean place located at HarborWalk Village, offering many candy/ice cream options. My 3 year old nephew was very happy when he found a very long gummy snake (he even named it). Six of us spent about $45 total on not a whole lot of stuff so it's not an inexpensive treat but enjoyable none the less. Solid little ice cream place after stopping at the McGuire's restaurants. The workers will help you out and let you try whatever flavor you want. Prices aren't too steep like other touristy places. This business was bought out by fantastic new ownership. It is a great experience, friendly staff, and they have amazing coffee. I highly recommend getting an iced coffee called "macroon". Coffee is better than Starbucks too, and much better pricing. read more

The VERY first thing advertised is gelato. Gelato is what we were looking for. Upon arrival we asked where their gelato selection was. The attendant politely explained they could not keep it at the appropriate temp there for they had to discontinue this product. This was very disappointing being we had drove a good distance only to be told we don't have it. Their advertising is is not accurate. Please update. This is our favorite place to get treats while staying in Destin Florida! The area and boardwalk are super cool, and theres a bunch to keep you busy for a day! They have delicious, unique ice cream flavors, amazing popcorn (try the cinnamon churro), and candy! Check it out! read more
