Suits are top notch. Took less than 15 mins to pick out suit for me and my son. We got shirts ties and shoes. Guy and his crew know their sizes and had us fitted for alterations immediately. Suits were a great deal, I guess inflation hasn't hit Suit Xpress yet. Shout out to CSP1 for your service and dedication to your customers and community. Every time I visit Suit Xpress in DTLA, I have a fun experience. Owner Guy goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable and appreciated, and he will go out of his way to make you feel like a million bucks when you walk out of his store, even if you walk out empty-handed. The selection of suits is HUMONGOUS with so many styles, colors, and price ranges to choose from that you'll wonder why you never stopped here first. The store is very clean and well-organized, and Offers a nice selection of suits, tuxedos, accessories, and colognes. When in need of a suit or tuxedo, visit this store FIRST. Best price and quality suits. My husband has been a customer for almost 10 years. We got all the family suits here for our wedding Guy (owner) is hands down good people. The best part is the call the trailer as you are trying on the suite to come fit it. The alterations can usually be completed same day or even while you wait depending on what is needed and the tailor shop is a partnership with another owner right upstairs. Such a great spot if you are in a rush. Highly recommend this place I e already referred four new customers. read more

The pricing is honestly insane for what you get. For under $200 out the door, we got the suit, shirt, tie, belt and shoes. They also have pretty much every color you can think of which made it super easy to coordinate everything for the wedding. What really stood out was how helpful they were throughout the whole process. They kept track of all the pieces for each groomsman so when everyone came in, everything was already matched and organized. That made things way less stressful on my end. A couple things to know going in: they don't have an in house tailor and the pants come unhemmed, but they have a bunch of tailoring recommendations and it honestly wasn't a big deal considering the price. After the wedding, I ended up going back and buying 3 more suits because the value is just that good. As long as I live in LA, I'll keep coming back here.

They apparently had some water damage in January and just had opened back up... and wanted to release some of the damaged and unfinished clothes for discounted prices. First I need to mention that the management and owner were standing outside and greeting everyone, chatting with them. I heard the full story of how this place came about, and the struggles they went through during covid and the rain. Just a great group of people running the shop and you really root for them to succeed. I bought two t-shirts, a sweatshirt and a hat. It has become my favorite pieces of clothing. The shirts are comfortable but thick material, and don't hug you in an unflattering way. They fit so well. I will definitely come back once they have a new round of inventory to check out their stuff.

Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.
