I remember as a child my grandma used to French braid my hair and my sister's hair before we went off to school. We'd sit on the floor and wait while she intricately created beautiful updos for us. She would then add flowers to our hair from her many plants and bushes outside to finish it off. As I grew older I've had various experiences getting my hair done, for proms, balls, photo shoots and so on. I had yet to really get my hair done in Omaha and I've always wanted to try the Drybar out. I had a wedding to attend and didn't want to get hot and sweaty figuring out how to do my hair so I decided to make an appointment with my hair stylist who normally cuts and colors my hair. But when the week came around my stylist was sick and had to cancel her appointments. This gave me the opportunity to book here at the drybar. I got there for my appointment and did have to wait about 10 minutes before my stylist was ready. I believe her name was Tanesha, she took me to wash my hair and we headed to the chair. The whole experience was relaxing and calm. I felt a little out of place but it's probably because I don't usually go to these places. I chose the Cosmo Tai and added a half braid along the side. I also added a sealant so it took me upwards of $85 plus tip. I really liked my stylist, she listened to me and executed my hair just the way I was imagining. I enjoyed watching the rom com on the TV that I can't even remember what it was but I like that aspect of my experience. My hair looked great and I'm glad I splurged on myself for the convenience and stress free experience. I don't know if I'll go again anytime soon but I'm thankful it worked out so I'd have a nice hair do for the wedding.

She also takes a person wanting to be fully happy with their service(s) as some kind of a person attack. Unfortunately, I could never recommend this hairdresser to anyone. If you do opt for her services, keep your standards low and your mouth shut. Over several appointments, we worked with Rhiannon to fine-tune my son's haircut and gradually discover the style that suited him best. My son is soft spoken and never wants to be disrespectful..so voicing his likes and dislikes is something we're still working on. As his mother, I advocate for him. This is not only my duty but my right. A $36 haircut plus 30-45% tip each time..I do expect my son to be happy and confident with his haircut. I accidentally scheduled my son's next appt for the following week after he'd just gotten cut. After I fixed this, Rhiannon messaged me stating that she saw the appt the upcoming week, "assuming this means that you are unhappy with something, again." Again, this was after the date was fixed and the new appt for 5wks out was accepted. I was thrown off to say the least. I explained the factual issue, apologized for my error, and inquired for further explanation. She described my son's appt the day prior as "very stressful" stating she went "over 10-15 mins on my waiting time" to possibly "adjust it a third time". I can't speak to her level of stress but the remainder of her statements are both exaggerated and frankly dishonest. Received a text message photo from my son's father at 4:53 pm, incoming call 4:55 pm for 2min 25secs. My son's services were booked out until 5pm. Adjusting it a second time is also a dishonest excuse used to justify her actions of canceling all his future appts. I thoroughly reviewed all the facts so I fully understood. In all transparency, we did contact her for a fix ONCE which at the time she didn't seem to have a problem with and she was GENEROUSLY tipped for. I did apologize for how she felt and expressed our appreciation for the time she spends on the haircuts. After receiving no response, it was apparent there was no discussion left to have. My last text was asking her to please give guidance on what to ask another hairdresser for in order to achieve my son's perfected cut. I can see on my end she successfully received it but has never responded.

Can't it be ordered? She also told me my shade red is hard to maintain. That I already knew. Red/Auburn is a very high maintenance color. I could be wrong, but I got the impression from when I met with her for a consultation that blonde color/blonde highlights are more her thing.
