I enjoyed my experience at reveal, and I will be back. I had some friends coming into town that evening so in the late morning I called to see if they had any openings for a blowout. Sure enough they did and I was able to easily get scheduled for one. When I arrived I noticed some nice modern decor, quite contemporary in fact. I loved the contrast between the blush pink and the green. I had a great stylist, she did a wonderful head massage during hair washing. Then she was friendly and we chatted a bit, but I also didn't feel like there was pressure to have a conversation the entire time. I ended up with a beautiful look, and had a great experience. I made an appointment on a whim, just to treat myself to an updo for my birthday party. Linette was so much fun to work with, as we brainstormed ideas for a 70s inspired, "big hair meets Disco" style to go with my dress. The updo turned out great, and stayed all night. The vibe at the salon was so upbeat and positive too, it really made the whole experience feel extra special. Jacci is an amazing stylist! She's been doing my hair and eyebrows for almost 15 years and is the only stylist I trust. Her work is phenomenal. I swear, there's nothing she can't do. One thing I really admire about Jacci is her honesty when it comes to hair care. She'll never steer you in the wrong direction and will take the proper steps to give you the transformation you are wanting, while making sure your hair stays healthy. I went in for a root color. that's all. I was told I needed a toner to even up the color. I came out with a total different hair color, than what I came in with. I was told to come back and they would get it fixed. I went in and it is a little lighter, but not nearly enough. Not to mention my hair had gone through torture. I have never had my hair in this bad condition before. I don't normally post negative comments, but I think the salon needs to know that their staff needs some guidance on coloring. The two gals that help me were as pleasant as they could be, but that doesn't help my hair color. I'm so sad my hair is in terrible shape and I have to wait to get it colored again. there's no way I can do it now there's so much damage. read more

I gave 2 stars because the people were really nice. (I changed that due to a shady business practice. See the review update.)However, my hair has been destroyed. I searched for weeks-months for a place with an experienced person in Japanese hair straightening. I finally found one. I got an in person consult and learned she had 10-11 years experience and has done a lot of these perms. I have had them done in the past so I know what to expect. She told me 3 hours and @ $110 an hour it was about $330 total. I agreed bc I absolutely love how my hair looks afterwards. I was seen from 1pm until about 320... so not a full 3 hours... so that was the first thing I wasnt thrilled about when you pay $110 an hour. She said she started a new system for these perms and kept looking at instructions, which now made me a bit nervous bc I thought I was going to someone who had all this experience. Then at the eknd my hair was FRIED. I'm going to have to get a drastic cut to fix it. I spoke with them about my disappointment and I was told it was due to the condition of my hair. I thought that was why we had to do an in person consultation was so she could check the condition of my hair. They offered a conditioning treatment which cannot fix the amount of damage. So now I have to spend more money somewhere else to get a hair cut.... Update: my review was posted to the business Facebook page. That review has been removed somehow from fb! The person who posted can still see it but now none else can. So no one else will be able to see that review. This is a shady business practice. Nothing in my post was a lie or exaggeration. Now I wonder how many reviews they hid from the public. read more

I go have my hair done by Paige. She is always very nice and does a great job. The salon is comfortable and the stylists are spaced put really well so there is room. The only thing I don't care for is the coloring station. It's set up almost like a bar and you discuss color with the stylists but it's very stained and it's awkward to be at with the stylist. And the price is a little high. I got a touch up. No cut, just roots and it was $70. I know quality of the color and the stylist's time is expensive. I truly loved Paige. read more

Overall I liked my experience. Everyone is really nice and talented from my perspective. My initial stylist (Jenn) was busy and had other client the to tend to also. I understand I know the focus was everywhere but they as a team made up for it by trying to each help me. Each stylist all helped out. I appreciate the team work. Wow! I love this place! I decided to upgrade my son's haircutting game from great clips to a nice salon and I'm glad I did! Same price here as the the cheap place but you get a really good hair cut without the worry of if it will turn out badly. I checked in when I got here and unexpectingly got $5 off, and they honored it without an issue. When I first walked in it probably took a minute or so for someone to notice us but I didn't mind. The lady who checked us in for my son's appointment was super sweet! She offered us a drink and we sat down to wait. It only took a minute or two and they were ready for us. The hairstylist we had was Jenna, she was awesome! Very sweet and welcoming and she understood what I wanted for his hair without a problem. (I showed her a photo as well.) She did great and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! I will definetly be coming back for his hair and I will be trying them out for myself too! There was plenty of parking which was nice. The interior was very cute and artsy, they even sell some cute clothing! I will be checking it out next time. I asked about it and I guess one of the stylists sister's owns a shop in Waverly or something like that and they sell some of her items. I love getting my hair done with Ashley! She's magical with hair and can turn you any colour you could imagine. Recently Ashley took me from jet black to blonde. She went the extra mile to ensure that my hair would be healthy and that I was aware of all the risks and gave me options. This was above my expectations for any hair stylist and really shows she genuinely cares about her clients. The salon itself is set up well with an open but homey feel. The chairs are comfortable and the masseuse gave me a hand massage while my colour was developing! I've never reviewed on behalf of someone else before but I just saw a friend's hair after getting supposed balayage highlights from the OWNER of this salon a few days ago and I feel like I have to say something. I can literally see lines on her outer layers where product was applied much heavier than other areas. After showing the stylist a photo on her phone the stylist did not talk to her for nearly 20 minutes - didn't communicate anything about what her plan was or ask any questions, leaving my friend to just hope they were on the same page. On top of all that this woman's kids were running all over the salon so naturally she had to stop DURING APPLICATION more than once to attend to them. Now like I said, I wasn't there so this is third party but I did see the end result myself and am trying to convince her to go back and make them fix it. Right now she's too nervous to have them mess with it again. Too bad, $75 down the drain. OH did I mention they trimmed her bangs and charged her for a haircut? At least she got her $45 back for the haircut that never happened. read more

I had the pleasure of having my hair colored and cut by Adriana for the first time yesterday. I was a new client and I was all over the board with possible ideas for what I wanted to do with the color and the cut. Adriana took the time to consult with me, asked the right questions to narrow my ideas down to the one we ended up going with. I went into the salon with old blond highlights and a significant amount of outgrowth, and left with a sassy head of dark brown hair with purple undertones. She also gave me a great cut and eyebrow wax too. The owner, Diane; and another stylist, Paige, were also there and very friendly! I look forward to going back for many more hair cuts and colors! The salon also has a massage therapist, and will soon have an esthetician. I would say that the services fall in a higher price point than "average," but the Lanza products they use are pricier, and well worth it. read more

I cannot say enough amazing things about Janeen. I not only make massage appointments to relax, but mostly to improve my health. Janeen has always taken the time to ask me about my general wellbeing and overall health. I suffer from migraines and tension headaches and she always shows great concern and takes the time to try different techniques to help me treat them. I learn SO much each and every time I go to her. In addition, one thing I appreciate is that she doesn't follow the same routine. Everything she does is for a specific reason. While I can't say anything about their ability to cut hair or color it, I can say that I had an AMAZING experience here for my wedding. My bridal party's hair and my hair turned out fantastic. I was treated so kindly and made to feel very special. I called and cancelled my trial appointment twice on them and they were never angry with me or anything short of absolutely understanding. They provided breakfast for us and everything. If you need a salon for your wedding day, please seriously consider Reveal. I was originally going to write my review when I went for my hair appointment in March but with the virus I completely forgot but I think it's important take time to talk about this place. I haven't found a place in years that I liked or wanted to go back to. I have now found that place :) When you walk in, the ambiance is so peaceful and the smells are relaxing. The decor is absolutely adorable and furniture is so comfortable. They greet you and ask if you would like something to drink. I had Jen, she was soooo amazing. I wanted a straight cut and my hair is short so it's not any easy cut to do. She made sure it was perfect! I have been waiting and waiting for this place to open back up and now that they are taking customers again, I can't wait! read more

Since I have to choose a star, I will pick one. I have requested several times to be removed from the email list (by unsubscribe, calling, emailing) and somehow I ended up back on it yet again. I was in twice before a couple years ago and will never go back. My first appointment I waited for an hour after my scheduled appointment for my haircut to even begin with no one even coming up to me to say apologize. My stylist that time was actually polite so I gave your salon a second chance. My second appointment was with Shy (not sure if I am spelling this correctly) because the previous stylist had left. My appointment for a trim/highlight took 4 hours (my hair length was about 2-3 inches past my shoulders, straight, and not that thick). 45 minutes of that block was me sitting with my head in the sink mid-shampoo as she went to another customer. As I am sure you know those chairs are not that comfortable and my back and neck were in a lot of pain by the time my shampoo was finished. When she finally returned back to me to finish my wash, all I wanted was to leave. She finished my trim and left with my shirt drenched and my hair soaking wet. Worst experience I have ever had. read more
