I knew that my hair would be a little bit of a tougher job because i had box dyed it and i needed her to dye all my hair the same color as the roots. I am SO happy with how the dye and cut turned out. She gave a great head massage and i was so happy overall! The salon is beautiful! The is beautiful Salon. I had requested a haircut and color. The color is produced by L'Oreal, an oil based product which did not color my hair properly, I'm imagining that it does not always cover the grey on older people. I'm 70 years old and I stated that my hair sometimes has a hard time taking up color. Of course the product was described at the end. I did show Samantha that 2 1/2 inches of my hair did not take up the color properly. I even looked at it in the light. My experience was not great for the amount of money I paid. When I walked up to pay the $349 bill, the girl at the front was not very friendly because I couldn't figure out how to put the tip which was a second computerized machine.. Can you imagine $349 plus a tip. My experience was unpleasant. I have to wait at least three weeks to have my color properly redone. read more

I have mixed feelings. The salon itself is Modern and clean. The level 2 hairstylist I had did a great job at highlighting my hair. However, this salon is more expensive than other salons. It cost me $240 for just highlights on my long hair. The stylist seemed rushed near the end and didn't ask how to style my hair--she just blow dried it and charged for that. I did not like feeling rushed to get out when I'm paying that much for hair color. I was also upsold $20 for a hair mask that she recommended for protecting my color. I got it but didn't feel like it was necessary. Being at the salon make me feel like the stylists just wanted to increase their commission. They did a great job, but I'm not sure the price for the experience was worth it. read more

Go spend $15 at super clips, the service will probably be better. $50 plus tip for a less than mediocre experience. 5/4/22 had a hair extension done two days after I'm having my extensions falling out of my head. I go back to have the issue corrected on 5/10- 5/10 senior stylist came over to instruct the stylist on how to go about fixing this issue. I left, the next day 5/11 stylist messages me that she no longer works at this salon. 5/12 my hair is again falling out. I call the salon to get my money back so I can go to a different salon to have them a fully installed correctly. Stephanie moss refused and insisted they look at the issue and evaluate from there. I went back to Stephanie moss to have them look at the hot mess that was my hair On 5/17. I was refused a refund. I was told that the original stylist was pulled aside to "work on her stitching" and also got let go/quit/fired. upon further investigation, I had to much hair in the beads, leading to hair loss. The wefts where installed backwards, and too loose damaging the 720$ hair I had to purchase, two packs even tho I have very fine hair and was only looking for length. I had wefts sewn together I had beads stacked on top of each other very oddly.. save yourself the trouble and ditch this salon. They don't do refunds even tho they had two chances to do something correctly.... question Stephanie moss if a local electrical company messed up your electrical TWICE, would you hire them again? This was my first visit to Stephanie Moss, and things didn't start out that great. I arrived a few minutes early but had to wait 20 minutes for my stylist. That certainly wasn't expected, and stressed me out a bit as I was on my lunch hour. Once the service started, however, it was all smiles. I went in for a conditioning treatment and blow out, so I can't speak to any of the hair cut services, but the wash and massage was heavenly. Seriously. Like eyes rolling into the back of my head good. And she read my mind...once she starred the scalp massage, she stopped talking as if she knew I just wanted to lie back and savor. :) The conditioning treatment left my hair feeling silky soft. I'll definitely be back for another! The blow out was pretty standard, but could have had more volume. The salon itself was very clean, modern, and elegant. Exactly the ambience I look for. I booked my appointment over the phone, and the day beforehand I got an text message, a voicemail, and an email reminding me of the appointment. It seemed a bit overkill. Maybe they've had trouble with people not keeping their appointments in the past? All in all a positive experience, I'd just recommend a bit more punctuality. read more

I have gone to this salon for years and recently went and got my hair colored and half of my hair didn't get colored. One half is now black and the other is the dark brown I had before. I was going darker so they didn't have to lighten it was just depositing color. When I got home I noticed it and reached out to the salon via messenger. I got a response that I could come back in and get a redo. I scheduled an appointment and was out of state and my flight got delayed. I called and let them know 24hrs prior to the appointment. Once I got back I sent another message (since this is how we had been communicating) asking what the options were. The message was read and never responded. Few days later I messaged again, again it was read and never responded. I then sent a message asking if a refund would be an option as I was frustrated with the hair but not frustrated with the quality of the service I was getting. Again, read and no response. I tried one more message. Gave them a few days to respond, no response. I called today and spoke with Starr, the receptionist. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me she was the only one. I explained what had happened and she said, "well since it's been so long the only option we have is to have you come back. But what I can do is have it be complimentary". I told her I had to drive over and hr to get to the salon and after everything with no responses I would just like a refund. I was then again told what she could do was have me come back in. I asked to speak then to Stephanie and was told "she is just busy and she isn't in the salon a lot so I'm not sure when I would hear back from her". I told her I would like to speak to Stephanie and would wait for her to call me and was then told she would be contacting me for Stephanie is just to busy and she doesn't know when she will speak with her. Starr, not Stephanie called me back to tell me that I could come in to get my hair fixed, and that was the only option. I told her that was an option for me to drive over and hr again. As someone who works in the education field and a single parent, making an hr drive for a 3hr appointment isn't something I can just drop by and do. I couldn't believe as a customer and client the way that Starr spoke to me. When did salons get to the place where the customer/clients satisfaction isn't the most important part. I would NEVER recommend this salon after this, and I've been going there for almost 10 years. Poor management and very snotty attitude. read more

I have been going to this Salon for 2 years now. I absolutely loved my Stylist Sara! she's amazing ! She promoted to the top level which means because of how the salon is run they must charge 15-20% more for services. The frustrating issue : I was recommended to go to a level 1 Stylist for color because it would cost much less ( We all know prices have increased due to inflation and I wanted to save some money !) ) I was told it would cost $87... I said great I'll be there ! As soon as I sat in the chair the level 1 stylist told me it would be $87 plus 29$ to have my hair blown dry ! My issue with this salon is Everything is an add on ! I know color is a huge money maker for Stylists and I am willing to pay but not extra to have my hair blown dry and washed ! But to have to pay $29 to have my hair dried .. not cut is ridiculous ! Be careful if you choose to go to this Salon. Everything is an add on !! plus $10 .. Plus $20 .. Plus $29 I spent more going this route ! It's how the salon is run ... the pricing ! I have been a client of Keri's since they were Blonde Salon on Maple. This newer location by Village Point is great and the employees are all accommodating. I have never had an issue with anyone at the front desk and they are helpful in scheduling. I actually don't live in Omaha anymore but have family and get my hair cut whenever I am back - that's how unwilling I am to find someone else where I live here in Nevada. I have full trust in my stylist and the color she's done on me has always been spot on. -They offer you water when you walk in -The place is very clean -Prices are realistic, reasonable and worth it -They do text AND call confirmation before your appt. Keri is great and she has done extra continuing ed. classes/certifications to be a badass in make up AND hair. It seems like the salon encourages these things so they can offer so much and they seem to be proud of their employees. I don't remember how I found this salon but I am so glad I did. read more

I scheduled a "special occasion" hair appt as well as a make-up application. I was scheduled with a gal that her words "i don't usually do hair". To which she had absoultely no idea what she was doing and ran a flat iron through my hair to curl and literally asked "is this okay"? It was a complete mess and utterly embarassing. After a few failed attempts to do anything that would save this appt, she finally had anough wherewithall to find a seasoned person to assist. She took over the appt and fixed the hair situation. She was rushed, but not her fault at all as she was helping. Next was the make-up to which the gal said "this is my speciality". No, it is not. I got home and looked like a caked-on-clown. I had to wash it all off and re-do myself. I attempted 2x to call the salon and also emailed to NO RESPONSE. This appt was an utter disappointment and to be ignored 3x when trying to privately connect to get a remedy is a true reflection of how this salon doesn't care. I brought my 12 year old daughter (soon to be 13) to get her her hair highlighted. I spoke to the receptionist about the options that were available for her. She told me that she could have a student stylist highlight and cut her hair for $89.00, or a level 2 stylist for a highlight only for $92.00. I chose the option for $92.00 and specifically said no to bayalage. When I picked my daughter up and went to pay, the receptionist told me $141.00. I asked why and she said that my daughter said that she wanted the balayage ($101), gloss ($20) and that a wash and dry was a la carte ????? ($20). My daughter has no idea what any of those options are and said that she was not even asked. I believe that they completely took advantage of a 12 year old girl!
