We really appreciated the level of security to the rooms. The aesthetics of the Hilton are stunning. While the restaurants and bars inside weren't occupied when we passed by they were very inviting. Our room was a king room with all the amenities one would expect. The mini fridge was operational which is nice as that isn't always the case. The lighting didn't have any guesswork and the bathroom facilities including the shower head were all luxury level. Whether you're on business or leisure, having access to the Expo, Midtown shopping and the Fresko grocery store makes the Hilton Midtown an excellent stay.

Specifically, my room rate included mini-bar service, yet was never refilled during my stay. Addotionally, I was disappointted to find that the Mujeres Latina marichi group---one of the Hotel's primary entertainment highlights-- has been replaced by a lower-level performance mariachi. The room is a bit less than what you expect of an AC but comfortable and ours was clean. The breakfast at the restaurant and the staff made up for the unpleasant welcome. The staff at the pool area were good too. Food was good there as well, but it gets loud since you are right next to the pool and loungers. Location was okay, but not withing walking distance to places. You will need to take and Uber or taxi if you want to venture out. I will not consider this hotel for the future and will find a better location.

They also had a rooftop pool, but I cannot comment on it since we were pretty busy exploring the town and never made it up there. I would say I would definitely stay here again. Very historical. It does not look like the photos online and feels very run down. There were several issues throughout the stay, including things that either did not work properly or clearly had not been maintained. The staff was friendly enough, but not attentive or service-focused. The most frustrating part was when they suggested we had broken the toilet, even though the issue was clearly a small leak from the hose connection and the toilet already flushed poorly. It was disappointing and surprising that they tried to blame guests for what seemed like basic maintenance neglect. Based on my experience, I do not understand the high ratings. The positive reviews and photos did not match the reality of this property at all. Be careful before booking. Overall, the location is good, but the facilities and service do not match the expectations set online. At best, this feels like a 2- or 3-star hotel. The room also comes with an iron and a full-sized ironing board. It also comes with great breakfast for both of us (chilaquiles, fruits, cereal, waffles, and more). Super-fast wifi here. The downside is that there is no fridge or microwave. They also have a small gym. My only complaint is that the staff's English is not that great but they are very friendly and always try to help us. Getting a taxi can be slow so I suggest that you call an Uber.

Don't come to this place, customer service was low grade.
