It should come as no surprise based on their affiliation with Radiant that Restoration 1 also overcharges their customers. We were quoted almost $6,000 for water mitigation after our hot water heater sprung a leak. Fortunately, my husband caught something incorrect on the estimate (an extra 0-so one line item was being charged at $1,440 instead of $144). Whether this was intentional or not, I can't say, but you can make up your own mind. After that error was rectified, it brought our estimate down to about $4,300, which was still twice as much as the estimate we received from another contractor later. Nearly $1,200 of this estimate was for "trip charges", which they danced around when asked about. We are in Round Rock and the technicians would have had to drive out for about four days to set up the equipment and take moisture readings, but even with gas prices being what they are this charge seemed absurd. Funnily enough, no such charge was listed as a line item on the second (and much more reasonable) quote we received a few days later. We had just had a baby and were in the midst of the newborn trenches when the tech came out. He knew this (we literally had a chat about it with him) and he still tried to price gouge us. This company is obviously trying to make a quick and is willing to take advantage of people to do so. If you're looking for a company that has integrity, look elsewhere.

Their supposed fogging created more of a mess and more cleaning from an outside company we had to hire. Their crews stepped all over our countertops which we have to have inspected for damage. Go to ServPro instead, they actually care. It's not always about the money and how much you can collect from insurance. It should be about doing things the right way. Not to mention they took our electricians ladder and we had to chase it down but blamed us because they had to get out fast. Blah blah. Just remember security cameras are always watching.
