Unfortunately the pictures online are deceiving. Home is not in the greatest condition as…read morepictured. There were large and small cockroaches found in every room. Kitchen was dirty, food left over from previous renters. Chairs to the dinning room were so nasty and stained. It appeared like no one bothered to clean prior to our arrival. Coffee, creamer and sugar were to be provided yet the creamer was old and hard as a rock. TV's in a couple of bedrooms didn't work and remotes had no batteries. I actually had to buy some in order to put in and be able to program the TV. No response to e-mails sent about the condition of the home. There was a leak apparently since before we arrived that was not fixed. When we reported it, they proceeded to shut our water off and after we advised them we needed water, we were asked, through text message, to only use it to shower and shut it off again. The following day the repairman came early morning wanting to shut it off and asked us to collect water in buckets if we needed water. Over $3500 paid for 2 days to stay in this home, yet we couldn't use water, we needed to use it out of a bucket. No contact from Property Manager or owner. No apology, no offer to reduce the cost. Nothing. Definitely will not be staying here again and would advise anyone wanting to rent to look elsewhere.

The unit itself, number 41, featured furniture that looked like it was from resale shops. Beat up, old, and basically depressing. That said, the paint on the walls, the kitchen, the bathrooms were upgraded, clean and nice. The area rugs were a little worn and dirty. Just a little depressing for me. Note that there is no shampoo, hair dryer, or any of that sort of small luxury in this unit. You will have to bring your own. Would not return to this particular unit.

The other has a big screen TV and a kitchen. We were there in October so the weather was beautiful. They also decorated the place for Halloween. Each day was a different skeleton scene. They had skeleton pumpkin carving, skeleton tug of war, skeleton wound center, skeleton BBQ and skeleton golf cart wash. Lots of work but enjoyed seeing a different scene everyday. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

The sites are spacious with many backing unto water. The staff are friendly and helpful, rates are reasonable and the people are super nice. It's a walk to the beach and centrally located on the island. My family and I will most definitely be staying with them again in the future!

The owner of the business Tim, was extremely friendly, and you can tell he enjoys giving the tours and letting people ride them around. He's very laid back about letting you enjoy the Segway, while still being cautious to make sure everything is safe. He's great at answering questions regarding anything about the Segway and does not try to sell you on stuff you don't want or need. The tour: Tim was very nice at letting you practice, and would even stop for good photo locations. Overall it was a nice tour around the water, way more interesting than the standard bus/walking tour. I'm sure to always remember it, and may have to do it again if we're ever in the area. If you are in Corpus and have a couple hours to spare I can definitely recommend the tour. Even you can care less about the city and just want to ride it around in the cool gulf breeze. Those with boats, have a boat ramp across the street. Also, the space you rent has enough space for your trailer, boat and your car.
