I also saw one of the New Client specials for a BOGO1/2 off deal. I called the day before and knew to bring loose clothing for after the tan session. I had a few questions and Stacey the owner helped guide me on the types of tanning sessions offered, asked how well I tan or burn using this laminated guide sheet just to determine what I wanted. I chose the darkest. Level 4 with a Bronzer not Clear so I could see some darkness immediately and with a moisturizer at the end since sunless tanning products can be drying. She told me do's and dont's to prolong the tan, when I could shower, wait to shower a few hours(which I did the next day since it was already later in the evening if I waited 6 hours), what types of lotions not to use and what to expect. I also bought a tan extender lotion on the less expensive side since I wasn't into frequent tanning. Stacey was very helpful with choosing which product to fit my budget and needs. After signing some disclosure/consent forms, we walked to the back to the Versa machine. She walked me thru how to use the machine and listening to the prompts of where to stand, what to expect, how to use the barrier cream, putting the shower cap and the flat feet protectors which I also purchased. Lastly, how to dry off with the floor fan if I needed to. I watched the video, prepped myself and went into the machine. I stood where I was supposed to according to the voice prompts, listening to when it was gong to spray and there were several rounds of this. After it was over, I used the fan and looked in the mirror. My back and back of legs seemed hardly bronzed and I mentioned to Stacey that I didn't hear the prompt tell me to stand on one of the side poses? It all seemed fast and I was a bit overwhelmed plus I was holding my breath when it told me it was spraying. The front face down to my quads seemed tanned but my shins seemed hardly touched? My arms already had some color to begin with and I esp. noticed my face was darker which was nice. I was just disappointed in my back and legs. Stacey did check up on me since I was taking longer prepping and the machine turned off. She told me to just let her know and just to press the button & it's good to go. When I got home, I just relaxed on my recliner and was trying to be careful not to rub off anything. I did see lines of lighter skin in the folds of my knees because I did have to squat/bend down at home? That was there for a couple of days so I used the tan extender to help it out. Kind of a bummer. As far as the longevity, I'd say with the tan extender I got maybe 5 days. Stacey did say that some people choose to spray their legs another time if they want it darker. My back wasn't dark, though? I don't know if I'm supposed to choose all dark no matter what the next time since now I know what to expect? I have another session so I know what to expect but will listen carefully to the prompts and just turn forward and backward instead of trying to stand sideways. I'll keep it simple. Store has some clothes in a boutique setting so you could peruse that section. 4-stars for service, 3-stars for results.

I travel often and this kind of hiccup happens more than it should. My membership had technically been canceled for next month, yet somehow it was already deactivated. I had even tanned just last week in Austin, so I was frustrated and fully expected to be turned away like I have been in the past. But Kayla completely changed that experience. The moment I walked in, she complimented me--something small, but it made my whole day after a long 9-6. She didn't just shrug off the issue; she took the time to call two Austin locations to figure it out and still let me tan. That's never happened before. I've had plenty of run-ins like this, and no one's ever been this helpful or kind. Kayla was professional, friendly, and genuinely wanted to help. Of course, electrolysis is not…read morea painless experience, but they both have tools to reduce the pain (lidocaine) and they will vary the speed and equipment settings based on your pain tolerance. Some areas "take" faster than others. For example, my ears only needed to be done 4 times and they now have virtually no hair, whereas my eyebrows needed far more treatments. Some areas are more painful than others, and I (and I imagine most people's) pain tolerance gets worn down over time, so you can schedule longer sessions for less painful areas and shorter ones for more painful ones, but your tolerance will build such that in your later treatments you can go for hours at a time if you have the need. The results are really solid. After several treatments, hairs stop growing back, and you no longer have to worry about shaving (or whatever method you used before). It's a time and money investment initially but it pays dividends in saved time that far exceed the investment.

I was pleased to discover the Versa Spa here uses the Norvell solution! My spray tans always develop nicely. I have no complaints about the spray tan itself. The hours aren't consistent. The hours on Google and the door aren't correct. The hours they gave me in person aren't correct. On days it is supposed to be open. I'll show up and nobody is even working. It is under new ownership. The new owner lacks customer service. It was my first time seeing her in there. She gave me a very unfriendly look upon walking in, she never greeted me, then proceeded to just glare at me while I was checking in. I went to leave she gave me another rude look. She never said a word to me while I was there. I just received unfriendly faces from her. She made me feel so uncomfortable like I wasn't welcome in her salon. Let's not forget, I am a paying customer and this is my first time meeting this woman. The other girl working the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. She is usually the one working whenever I go in. I appreciate her and how helpful she was to me. I'm canceling my membership here. This is the most unprofessional business I've ever gone in. Half the time they close early or aren't even open. They ran out of spray tan solution during my last visit. I would not recommend this place while it's under this new owner. Hopefully someone else will buy it so I can return as a client.
