I was excited when our pool in the…read moreneighborhood opened as we had a pool in our backyard in my previous location and it was a lot of work and I looked forward to enjoying the pool without all the upkeep. I was so pleasantly surprised by all the equipment. First of all there is more than one pool and I have only been at the north pool. It's a lovely pool up to 5 ft, no diving, but beautiful landscape and plenty of tables and chairs and recliners. There is also a little "splash town" that I like to call it where there are these huge rings you can run through with sprinklers on you and also these water sprouts that comeup from the ground that are tons of fun for my 14 month old twin grandsons. Clean and fun. There is also a gym that seems to have the most popular equipment and they are in the process of giving it a "facelift". There is a great play area outside of the pool area and gym that is great fun for the kids. It's new and they had a grand opening and passed out refreshments and had a balloon lady and everything. I'm looking forward to the next few years being here. Great amenities and great people to be around.

The first time we came last year, they gave me the shortest horse because I was the shortest rider there! I rode Ziggy, and I was already attached. He's so cute-- I am a big David Bowie fan, so I have nicknamed him,"Mr. Stardust" LOL The first time we came, it had been some years since I had ridden a horse, and the same for the boyfriend. We did the easy walking trail ride-- this year we did the intermediate trotting trail and I asked to ride Ziggy again-- what can I say, I love him.. Although we were initially nervous for reservation cancellations due to the rain and being pushed back a day, they still had great communication as to whether or not we'd be able to have our trail ride. The respond via text message-- so be aware that if you call, they might not answer. The only time they DO call is when you're booking the reservation. It had been raining on and off and so they said the first time they were checking our specific trail, was when we were actually on it. We didn't get to trot as much as I wanted, but it was a little squishy in some areas. The staff is friendly and even take your photo at the end! My thing is that it is very hard to hear them talk when you're on the trail ride. It would be beneficial for them to carry a microphone or something.

We rode along serene trails and ended up beside a beautiful lake. We saw numerous deer that didn't even spook the horses. It was so peaceful hearing nature up close and personal. The ranch patiently provided us with training before taking us out. By far, the best time of my life! The horses were so calm The staff were so gentle and really helped us first time riders feel at ease, making our horseback riding a therapeutic experience.

They did not call to notify us she was injured. Instead she sat in pain until normal pick up time for us to get her. At pick up they placed her in the car and buckled her so I could not see her arm, but they assured me it was just a bump, "it's not broken or anything." When I got her out of the car her arm was obviously misshapen and I knew right away it was broken. We emailed the director several times asking only that they provide better training to their staff. None of our emails were answered. I would not trust these people with children's safety.

My son started at Kim's White Tiger in the elementary after-school program, and we are now about…read more2.5 months in. The Kim's van picks up the kids from school and get them to Kim's pretty quickly. They have a room off the main mats that has a number of long tables with chairs all around. The kids can play quietly in the room or do their homework. My son has a good time and came home asking to learn checkers and chess because some of the kids were playing. The kids also have a Tae Kwon Do class each afternoon, and my son enjoys it a lot. What is really great is how enthusiastic the instructors are and how well they get all of the kids to listen. My son, who was already very polite, starting saying "yes sir" and "no sir" regularly after attending. They also give them weekly "star charts", which have a number of activities (doing homework, doing chores, respecting and being kind to family members, etc.), with students earning a lot of stars being recognized each month. All in all, not only does it offer a great option for an after-school program, but the kids enjoy it and the instructors emphasize both learning Tae Kwon Do and being respectful, quality little human beings.

Interactions seem much smoother when there's consistency in showing up. "If you're a No-Show please don't hesitate to contact management to reschedule, as I've had to do it once or twice." Please don't come in on days you're not scheduled (I learned this the hard way, they only have so many horses to let people train on). The trainers plan their day around the schedule, and unexpected arrivals cause confusion. Ive been taking lessons here as a beginner and the Trainers are very helpful on what you need to improve and give helpful tips on how to correct your mistakes. The lesson programs they offer are very well priced for learning how to ride. They have Trainers for every style of riding from Dressage, Western, English, and more. Also, the boarding is very reasonably priced, especially compared to other places around. It's honestly hard to find something this affordable without sacrificing the basics. If you're looking for a place to take lessons, board your horse, or do both, this is a solid option. The ranch has a comfortable, welcoming feel, and it works well for riders who want a consistent place to ride and care for their horse.
