The Coffee was great however I ordered a Medium (16oz) Hot latte, almond milk (I'm lactose intolerant) and 1 extra shot. For $8.05. It is not 8.05 great. I always tip ($2) and it went up to 10.05. The price is too high for a Medium 16oz. You "high" end coffee shops are usually hovering over 4-6 dollars with "add ins". If you consider almond milk a add in? Service took about 10mins and the ambiance was fine just very busy! read more

Stopped into Summer Moon Coffee during a cross-country drive and was incredibly grateful to come across this gem! I picked it due to its proximity to I-20, as I was looking for something that wouldn't require me to drive miles away from the interstate. The location makes it really ideal for travelers. The coffee shop is part of a little string of cute restaurants / shops / etc. There are lovely murals painted on some of the exterior walls, and the place looks delightful. Inside Summer Moon, the same cute energy continues with the decor, branding, and merchandise that's available for purchase. I ordered an iced 1/2 winter moon latte (the "1/2" is half the sweetness, I believe) with oat milk and thought it was delicious. The baristas were kind and quick. The whole experience was lovely, and this will definitely be one of my Texas go-to coffee shops. read more

This has to be the most pleasant experience and surprise I've ever had at a Summer Moon. I already loved the outside wall when we pulled up and parked. Flowers and art will always pull me in to any establishment especially serving coffee. There was line when we arrived but the wait wasn't long at all and the staff was so friendly. The decor in this location is so adorable. There is a mini fireplace and plenty of place to sit inside and out. Speaking of outside...this was THE BEST part. We walked out the back door into a full patio area and it got even better. There was a lawn, with unique chairs, lawn chairs, and beautiful little lake with a fountain. It was so peaceful. I'd def enjoy my coffee lounging out here with a good book. read more

Cute little stop that is off the freeway and easily accessible when I'm an RV. Nice place to relax for a moment with a lane and great seating options. The cashiers and baristas were welcoming and nice. Helpful when I had questions. The drinks were delicious. I had the blueberry seasonal drink and we also had the seasonal tea- Strawberry Lemonade Green Tea, but I preferred raspberry instead of strawberry and they were very accommodating. It was refreshing. The Cold Brew my husband got was good and they had heavy cream and a sugar free vanilla option. He did say it wasn't as smooth as he usually gets. I've been going to various Summer Moons in the Austin area for years. I always get a 1/4 Autumn Moon. I've been to this location twice. The first time I got said autumn moon. The second time I ordered an autumn moon, but the cashier rung me up for a winter moon instead. I didn't realize until after I received my drink and saw the ticket taped to the side of my cup. It's fine. It was still good. Just something for others to keep in mind if they order off menu/out of season seasonal drinks. read more

Wonderful coffee shop with such kind owners. We were in town and he took us through a run down of different drinks and the "moon milk" which essentially tastes like a melted vanilla milkshake and is delicious. We had an assortment of bakery items like the blueberry scone, banana muffin and chocolate muffin and all were so good! We had a large group and everyone was raving about their beverages. I personally had a 1/2 moon latte which was a little sweet for my usual taste but very good. I later got a double moon shaker which is their version of a shaken espresso with the infamous moon milk. Now that was perfection for my coffee preferences. The coffee itself is of great quality and the owner mentioned they only use beans that have been roasted within the past 2 weeks so that they are at their prime. Overall really can't recommend this place enough, great ambiance, on a section of water that's beautiful and you're getting one quality cup of coffee. read more

Stopped here on a trip from Lubbock to DFW and was a perfect pick me up. Clare was so helpful and kind when I brought in my 1 year old. The pastries were fresh and calmed the little one down. The vibe of the inside was calm and great to get out of the car and stretch our legs. Will be making it a regular stop on our car trips. read more

I love SummerMoon! What a delicious treat. We were in Abilene for the weekend and it happened to be their grand opening weekend, so of course we checked it out! Waited a while in line to order (again, opening weekend morning so we expected it) but were happy to receive our wonderful drinks after our wait! They also had some pastries, muffins, scones, etc. The inside is by far one of the bigger SummerMoons we have been in, with a super cute vibe and fun seating! They also have a patio with tables and they just added umbrellas for some shade, as well as having dog water bowls! It's also in a super cute location where out back there is some children play areas and a little pond to walk around! Check it out! read more

Moved to Abilene a year ago for school, summer moon has been the best quick stop for me to grab a coffee. Parking can be annoying but the fast service and delicious coffee is all worth the hassle. Love studying here and sitting outside to people watch during my study breaks. read more

I was in town for an appointment and swung by to try this place out. It's so cute! The baristas were helpful in picking out a drink with their moon menu system. My drink was very sweet, so I'd recommend underestimating how sweet you want it to be. I picked up a super cute comfort colors shirt for an excellent price. I sat on the back patio overlooking a pond/river type of thing and it was so peaceful. I'll be bringing my book next time (: read more
