It's ok. For this visit I don't understand the 4+ star reviews. Obviously there had been a lot of rain because of standing water on the course in many areas but of course they can't control the weather. Greens were very inconsistent - some rolled well and others not so much. The bunkers appear to not be maintained very well. Course overall has a decent layout with some interesting holes. Reasonably priced it fit the budget perfectly for a family foursome. I also didn't understand the gas carts vs. electric. Usually gas means lots of hills and inclines but this was a typical flat Florida course. I would probably give them another try if in the area.

Super friendly people welcomed me and made me feel right at home. Talked me into eating at Doc's instead of heading to another restaurant. And it was pretty good. Interesting course. Winds through some neighborhoods, incorporating natural water features. Lots of water, some you've gotta hit over, some to the sides. Regular and flat sand hazards, but easy enough to play past them. One thing I didn't care for was how they started us on the 10th tee due to a league playing on the front 9. I would've booked another time if I'd have known that first. Will check in the future before booking. Some fast singles (3 different ones) came up on us and played through...not a big problem. I found it strange --but fine-- that the paved cart paths would somethings just...end. No signs or other instructions so we just drive on the grass along the course. Just kinda weird. Beautiful surroundings, though; some of the nicest I've seen. Carts are gas and no GPS. Not a prob, just used to electric and the GPS stuff is handy. My buddy and I are up in the air as to whether we'll give this course another go.

Course is typically in nice shape. Pin placement always on the challenging side. Rangers keep it organized and moving. Best golf course hot dogs in Florida. Bar tender and cart person always very personable.

We booked online. I found other courses in the area that we couldn't book online and those turned out to be private.

Some are good, some are just awful, and I tell myself I will not return ever again. I have to be honest though, I really like this track, it is challenging and keeps me on my toes. I have to utilize course management each time I play here which is also helping me to become a better player. Granted it will take me a lifetime time or two to get a handle of this particular game. I'm sure there are many of you that will understand my pain! Today was a better experience than I am accustomed to since I actually started before my tee time and didn't have to wait for anyone in front of me during my entire round which normally is not the case at this course. The snowbirds are gone though so that helps immensely. Some pros and cons. Pros: Convenient location, easy access with plenty of parking. The staff here in the pro shop are excellent, thank you Stephanie! The golf carts are new with GPS, very nice ride! The practice areas here are phenomenal, huge putting green with lots of room to make those extremely long putts. Driving range is awesome and very wide to accommodate several golfers. The chipping green is good size to work on your short game with a sand trap to utilize as well. You are not forced to play in a foursome. Some courses love to do this, which I'm ok with, but I'd rather see it as a choice and not a requirement if it's not a busy day. The bar area is nice to have a sandwich or a slice of pizza before or during your round as well as a beverage after your round. There is also a beverage cart and saw it several times throughout the round so there is no reason to go thirsty during the day. Cons: There is no water fountains or coolers of cold water on the front 9 and back 9 to rehydrate. It would be handy during the hot months that we must endure here in this Florida heat. The course needs water but many of the courses in the area do as well and on a few of the holes the sprinklers were on while we were playing so they are working on that. There are areas of the course that have thin lies, just dirt and very little grass. Tee boxes have very little grass or lots of dirt. The bathrooms on the course are in bad shape, avoid them!

However, my experience with management has made it difficult to fully enjoy being there. In my opinion, the manager often speaks to employees and customers in a disrespectful and belittling manner, which creates an uncomfortable environment. I have also personally witnessed behavior during work hours that I felt was unprofessional. I hope ownership addresses these concerns because the club has a lot of potential and could be an even better place for both staff and guests.

This arrangement of golf variety gives players twenty seven different holes to play on four sets of tees from front Gold (4400 yards) to back Blue (6000 yards) with a par of 71. Nobody's golf game shall be frowned upon as the front boxes promote swift play to the inexperienced and some challenges to the better players. I quickly took off from the White tees as the Ranger saw me coming and out me in front of two apparently slower groups. I told him that "I play fast" he assured me to "take my time, there's not many players out" this was New Years Day. Pounding my new PING up the left side, I quickly noticed that I had to push it back to the Blues and this links style course was wide open and there for the taking. Fairly large and well bunkered greens - (no potbelly's but a few whales, not very deep) received my approaches and held each line I put my strokes in - each putt I looked at had minimal break - burning edges I really didn't make much and left more than a few birdies as I went out in 42. Coming back, I began to take in the beautiful surroundings of pines and oaks lining the fairways, but also aware of the impending doom of all the dangerous water on almost every hole. The course did play short for me as it was Driver wedge on a few, 3Wood 9iron or 8iron most of the round - but as I'm getting a bit older, this suits me just fine - I don't look forward to continuous 440-450-460 yard par 4's like I used to - but I still enjoy a few. ere's a fun reflection upon my 25+ golfing years.

Not an optimal arrangement and a bit confusing. It's Palms to Oaks, Oaks to Lakes or Lakes to Palms, if that clarifies it. Lots of water and sand hazards. Greens well kept; the entire course is, really. Was a bit crowded when we feed off at 11am but no one caught up to us. A weird thing about this course is how tight the turns are. Lots of switchbacks so you always have another group to your right or left...and sometimes both. I hit a guy's cart and we had more than a couple stray balls land near us from unknown players on other holes. We found that this did make the playing go faster, for what that's worth. And on top of that, there are driving ranges right in the middle of the 3 courses. You'll see lots of range balls on the fairways... For those who are new to this course, finding the holes can be very confusing. The course definitely needs more markers directing players to the holes. The carts have a warning sign in them to call the Pro Shop I if you encounter problems with the cart. And sure enough, we came up on a stranded player whose cart had died. He was pretty frustrated. Nice folks at the Pro Shop and check in, though I just don't think this course is for me for the above reasons.
