Our family member lived in the memory care unit at Clearwater at Rancharrah for approximately one year. Initially, things seemed acceptable, but the quality of care declined significantly over time. We ultimately felt we had no choice but to remove him urgently. There appeared to be a serious staffing shortage, and the employees who were there seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the residents were the ones who suffered. During multiple visits, we found our loved one still in bed late in the day because no one had helped him get up since the morning. On more than one occasion, he was calling out in pain and had not been checked on. Personal belongings also went missing multiple times, and when we raised these concerns with the executive director, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. What we witnessed went far beyond occasional mistakes or forgetfulness. We believe it reflected a pattern of neglect toward vulnerable residents who depend entirely on staff for their daily care and safety. The overwhelming sense of relief we felt after moving him out says everything about our experience. I strongly encourage families to carefully consider other options. If your loved one requires attentive, compassionate memory care, I would not recommend this facility based on what our family experienced. We hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

We have…read morehad a loved one in the memory care unit for nearly a year and I have to say that I have been impressed with the compassion and level of care provided by the staff. I know in our case that the staff have treated our loved one with respect and kindness from day one. I try to thank them every time I visit and am continually impressed by their patience and cheerful attitude. I have had several opportunities to interact with the administrators and each interaction has been helpful and professional. In the course of the year they have implemented several programs that have enhanced the safety and care provided to the residents. Everyone from the front desk to the executive director has been cooperative, understanding and most responsive. The facility itself is beautiful, the food is excellent, and there are all kinds of activities for the residents and their families. I couldn't be more pleased with Clearwater at Rancharrah. Bruce S

They just want a room number and they'll let you in. They had ONE nurse assigned to an entire area. She went on lunch when my grandma nearly choked to death and the other staff simply said "I'm not qualified to help with that". She was bed ridden and could not move at all. They refused to clean her when she went to the bathroom and ignored her when she wrote help on paper over and over again. She was old but mentally clear and they constantly assumed she was senile, talking down to her like a child. Another patient down the hall was crying and screaming for help and no one came for almost 30 mins, even after we tried to chase down the nurse. The staff is rude and claims that they can't help with things even though it's literally their job. We ended up having to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital just to get her out of this place. Hospital found out that she got pneumonia from their neglect. She passed away a few days later. I regret sending her here.

Food is very good served in your room or in the dining room. Therapy room has a number of stationary bikes along with other types of therapy equipment. Therapists are very good at their jobs and highly trained. Facility has a very good social program with different activities every day including a movie on Sunday.

The home is always clean and bright. My father is always clean, bathed, and dressed in clean clothes. The grounds are beautiful and enjoyed by the residents when weather allows. The owner, Nucharee Yokdang, is very knowledgeable about running an assisted living/group home, including being able to help with all the necessary paperwork for long term care reimbursement and hospice. She knows just what the elderly need from a care perspective and is always looking for ways to improve their quality of life. The Holiday parties and other activities they do are wonderful for residents and family members. The whole staff treat their residents with such love, care, and respect, you can tell they view them as part of their own extended family. The greatest compliment that I can give though is the fact that my father calls it HOME! I feel so blessed there is such a wonderful place with amazing people for my father to spend his last years. Will be discharged today after a 7 day stay. As a RN for decades, the quality of care and expertise here is 5 star. The CNAs were all wonderful. Joema, Rita and Terry stood out as did Leo. Joma is the kindest, most compassionate and funny CNA I've ever encountered. Her patience and concern for all the patients is laudatory. Amazing woman she is. My Physical Therapist Jordan and my Occupational Therapist Bethany are incredibly skilled and compassionate. They pushed me through the pain with tenderness. I can't say enough how talented the entire therapy team is. The RNs were also great with one exception. Tiffany got me through some tough days and Cyrene were compassionate caregivers I was fortunate enough to have. Dr. Williams and Dr. Su were skilled and attentive. They both have exceptional knowledge and bedside manners. Dietary must receive a shout out for good food, menu planning and Nadine and Serena who delivered my chicken broth and saltines were a pleasure and a bright spot. Only negative was a male night shift RN that made me feel like a burden, that my needs didn't matter and I should understand how busy he is. He should not work here. I've hired and trained dozens of RNs and this wasn't just a bad night - he lacks care and empathy and goes through the motions. Renown Rehabilitation Hospital is where you want to be when you need inpatient rehab. I'm forever grateful. Amazing group of skilled professionals with a handful of angels sprinkled in. Thank you so very much for getting me back on my feet. You guys have been amazing.
